No aim assist and my first play through was on normal, currently going through my second. Need to turn on vehicle assist if there is one cause I couldn't drive the jeep for shit on the Madagascar level when you're chasing Sam.
For me I'd have to say 4 over 2, but I also prefer 3 over 2 as well. I don't understand all the hate for that game lol, it was spectacular. 4 just tops the others in terms of setting, acting, graphics, gameplay, and presentation imo. It shows how much ND has grown as a studio, I'd put it right next to TLOU. Playing U4 has me unbelievably stoked for their next game.
I'm the opposite I absolutely loved the settings in U4. The island and Mdagascar are just beautiful!! So many pics taken
Gtfo the division was all hype, game was good but nothing spectacular. UC4 easily
Fanboys calling each other fanboys seems to be the new "it" thing around N4G.
And your thirst to knock UC4 is real
Imagine ND doing a space themed game...a man can dream.
@kurta
I agree about GTA, it's just for me I've never thought the strength in their games are with the gameplay. It's not bad it's just to me others do it better, but no one comes close to ND when it comes to story, cinematics, and presentation.
I'd say top 5 for me, I absolutely loved the story in the original Metal Gear. If anyone remembers The Legend of Dragoon that also is an all time favorite for me lol
I agree to an extent, gameplay imo isn't NDs strength but it's also not garbage or their games wouldn't be praised the way they are, idc how well the stories are told. They usually put out good but not great gameplay and absolutely stellar storytelling that no one else in the industry comes close too. I've said before that if their gameplay ever matches their stories and presentation, they'd be flawless.
I loved the environmental story telling in this game! I actually cared more about the story of Avery and his pirate captains more than how Drakes story would end. They nailed the storytelling in this game, magnificent ending to a stellar franchise.
Come on guys this is obvious click bait. This game has been highly praised since release with an 8 being the lowest score. Suddenly someone drops a review a couple weeks later and it happens to be a six? Lol the titles controversial and he knew that, just cause the reviews well articulated and well written doesn't mean this guy didn't have every intention on getting as many clicks as possible. How do you think he earns his keep as a writer? Plus he just happens to have an account here...
People need validation and that's the obvious problem here lol.
That game must be a masterpiece for all masterpieces
I think a sequel for sure would surpass TLOU, for one it would blow the original out of the water in terms of graphics. Also Neil and Bruce know how to tell a terrific story so I'm sure it would be another riveting and emotional experience. Now if we're talking what new mechanics they would add I'm not sure lol, but I salivate at the possibilities. Me personally I'd love more weapons to craft, maybe a few vehicles, optional dialogue, even more environmental story telling, and ...
Game isn't for him but it's been highly praised so does his opinion matter? Ppl gotta calm down
Wishful thinking imo, I know they have two teams but when have they ever released their games a year apart. Besides I think their other team is likely a small squad that works on their next project until they can get all hands on deck. Now that UC4 is done I think they'll begin full production and maybe have a game out by late 2018. And please for the love of god stop with this savage starlight stuff lol, I think it's just a poster in TLOU and they're basically just trolling at th...
There's no way they're not making a sequel to their most successful game ever. There will be a TLOU2, its just a matter of when imo. If they can come up with ideas to make 4 amazing UC games, they can muster up another great story to tell in this universe.
Best part is ND is only improving, there will always be mistakes but I feel like they're getting closer and closer to perfection.
I agree with memorable set pieces, that's the only thing this game was missing imo. However I think it surpasses all others in environmental storytelling, puzzles, graphics, presentation, and gameplay. Just awesome, I've never been as awe inspired as I was during this game discovering what happened between Avery and his pirate captains.
