Ya ps wins by a landslide. Not only are the smaller titles coming but there's a lot of heavy hitters coming as well.
Games I can't wait for:
Horizon
Nioh
P5

GoW

I we're just comparing graphics across all platforms than a PC game wins easily. If not than UC4 gets my vote
Definitely deserves a nomination. Overwatch is a great example of how gaming has been evolving really since last gen. I believe your favorite hobbies are even more enjoyable when you can enjoy them with your friends, and Overwatch is a great example of a game that allows you to do that to the fullest. It really took the industry by storm this year and reminded me alot of how popular Halo or CoD:MW became mainly due to their addictive MP. As mainly a SP gamer UC4 is the best game this year imo...
We got plenty of great games imo, a part of me thinks our expectations as gamers are becoming a little ridiculous. I've seen ppl on GAF refer to UC4 as a terrible game lol, which baffles me and leads me to believe you're either a fan boy or your expectations for that game were absurd.
Ya they're finished I'm just saying, I believe they'd make another UC before they make a crash or Jak
For me it was NMS, QB, Homefront, Mafia 3, and Star Ocean
For those that want ND to make another Jak or handle a new Crash, keep dreaming. This studio is so far removed from that, they're always given the freedom to make whatever they want and with guys like Neil and Bruce running the show its highly unlikely that you'll see those games being made by this particular studio. I'm sorry but the UC and TLOU franchise is and will always be bigger than Jak and Crash. Imo it would be a complete waste of talent to have this A team of devs make a...
Horizon, Nioh, For Honor, GR2, ME:A, RDR2, P5.
Remarkable game indeed, a rare case of a game that I enjoy more after multiple playthroughs.
This news alone doesn't excite me, hopefully the campaigns actually good and they don't pull a Destiny or Division.
There won't be a month to spare in 2017
Not a really good comparison, TB is strategic and alot slower than action combat. While the mechanics may be slightly different in CoD to Rainbow six, they're both still fps that have rather short action sequences. From my experiences with TB games it makes the game alot longer and slows the combat down drastically. The only benefit I see with TB is it forces you to strategize and makes each fight a little more interesting. However I feel as though there are ways to force players to strat...
Very true indeed, I just don't think the FF series would sell very well in the western market if it we're TB, at least not on consoles.
Yep, would have thrived in Japan and sold not as good in the state's. SE knows this as they're beginning to westernize FF, turn based combat is just not as appealing here as it is in Japan.
Nah lol I'm sorry but turn based mechanics should be left in the PS2 era. Combat mechanics have evolved into something much more impressive imo. Although I do think allowing players the option to turn turned based combat on couldn't hurt, as it seems alot of gamers still want it.
Mordor is excellent, I really hope they're working on a sequel
I would say Sony from an obvious sales point but also from a software perspective. Gears and Forza 3 were spectacular and I really like my X1S, but in terms of software Sony had a great year and their future is looking very promising. UC4, Ratchet, and TLG are in my top 10 games played this year. Horizon, Nier, Nioh, and GR2 are all set for February which is insane, we also get Ni No Kuni 2, P5, Knack (if you care), GTS, and UC:LL in 2017 (help me out with what I'm missing). Post 2017 the...
Feb 2017 lineup is looking insane!
This list is horrendous lol. No UC4, Doom at 19?? No Gears??...ok craveonline. No more clicks for you.
It was a phenomenal showing, I'm all in again on the GoW franchise. Can't wait to see more
