I don't think either of those are likely to release this fall. Especially TLOUP2, UC4 finished production last year, there's no way TLOU is ready in a year and a half. Neil and Bruce both had to stop production of TLOU in order to finish up UC4. I think it's still in early development and likely won't release until 2019.
I agree. Resi 7, Nioh, Horizon, and then Zelda all within the first 3 months is insane, all of them games I enjoyed very much. Then you have games I haven't played yet like Yakuza 0, NieR Automata, and GR2. 2017 has been relentless so far and looks to continue that trend for the remainder of the year. Persona 5, Prey, Destiny 2, Shadow of War, RDR2, and Mario Odyssey are all supposed to come out this year as well. GOTY discussions are going to be intense come December lol.
I would KILL someone to play TLOU2...
I literally do not care for any of those exclusives. The only one that interests me a little is FH3, I used to love Halo but have grown tired of the series and Gears was never my cup of tea. As it stands right now, Xbox has zero exclusives that I want to play.
I don't care at all about PC exclusives. Haven't played most of them but they also don't peak my interest. I'd have to give it to the PS, followed by Nintendo, then Xbox in terms of exclusives I care about.
I truly believe a large portion of the install base only have a console for Madden, CoD, BF, etc.
Amazing game, loved every minute of it. One of my top games of the generation.
My name? What's that mean, just my gamertag from 06 that I've had since then.
It's truly defined the open world genre this generation imo. Running around on this huge map doesn't feel like a chore at all, but instead you feel like each corner u turn presents a new adventure and something to discover. The best way to experience this game imo is with the dynamic HUD. Leaves nothing but your hearts displayed on screen and really allows you to get lost inside this world without worrying about checking things off the things to do list. There's so much that goes ...
This game is awesome, gets better and better every time I play it. Very close to being my GoTG, definitely my GOTY so far.
This series would be amazing as an HBO show.
It's going to get to a point where devs are going to feel the need to make sure everyone is represented. And forcing that upon devs is not a good thing imo.
Lack of AAA support is what killed the Vita. If Vita 2 doesn't have these things, it'll fail as well.
Beat the game Wednesday at 71 hours, only RPG I've ever logged that kind of time in. Amazing experience, the combat, story, and visuals are what make this game stand apart imo, as two of these are the best in the genre. Might be my favorite PS4 exclusive, definitely between this and UC4.
Do they ever say anything negative about a hardware or software provider? Anyway I'm curious about it but they're going to have to knock it out of the park this e3. I'm certain graphically it'll wow ppl and plenty will go out and buy it for that reason, I wanna see those exclusives tho and an affordable price point.
Excited for this, make it happen Nintendo!
E3 reveal!
Open world games are often overwhelming to me, they start to drag for me around the 40 hour mark or so. I can't think of one game where I put in over 40 hours and can't recall just wanting it to end at one point. Thanks to Horizon I know that it's more about your enjoyment in the world itself, how's the exploration, sense of discovery, and combat mechanics? In the case of Horizon I feel like the driving force is the combat, and discovery. It's discovery it's utilize in...
Games magnificent, the freedom and sense of discovery is unmatched imo. I anticipate that I'll be playing this for months.
I think this year has the potential to breed a lot of games getting gameplay trailers. They announced so much last year that ppl are going to want to see gameplay for. Another for GoW, also Spider-Man and Days Gone should both have gameplay trailers. Then there's Destiny 2, RDR2, and the new CoD. I think this year might be weaker in terms of reveals, but even games like SP new IP, Bloodborne 2, and Japan Studios new IP could send shockwaves through the gaming community.
