It all comes down to preference. I had a 360 before I had a ps3,but I personally like the ps3's exclusives more. Gow 3, UC2&3, infamous and killzone made me make the switch.
I do think they need at least one game that has great multiplayer but I'm still stoked for the order, infamous, driveclub and also planetside 2 which is a multi player game. If your heavy on online mp games I'd suggest an Xbox honestly.
Halo 4 will definitely be a great seller. But idk if it could compete with whatever drops on the ps4, considering it's the 7th halo installment, I think people are starting to get tired of the game honestly. Not saying any old thing for the ps4 will do better, but it's heavy guns from ND, RAD and SSM could do better, especially since the ps4 has the larger install base and it's likely to only grow.
True, but you'd also know Ryse is arguably the worst exclusive for either console so far lol. If you create a game as linear and boring as Ryse than i'm sure the graphics could be accomplished on both the x1 and ps4, besides the PS4 is the more powerful console, hints to why nearly every multiplat game can get to 1080p/60fps while the x1 can't. Maybe, something like that could easily be predicted last gen when the 360 had more players, but this time around Sony is winning and if things do get better for the X1 it'll likely only even things out. So if two major players for both the consoles release around the same time come out, if the PS4 still has a large install base it could sell just as much if not outsell whatever the X1 puts out. May have to get an X1 for this and Titanfall. Waiting to see if Titanfall really never comes to the PS4 though. Titanfall 1 may never see another console, but Titanfall 2 may, we'll see I guess. But Halo 5 may turn out to be something amazing, guess we'll have to wait and see.

Don't count on it, I think it has a greater chance of being Syphon Filter.
Syphon Filter reboot would be excellent, but I wouldn't be angry to see a new IP either.
This games clearly in its alpha stage, can't wait to see what it looks like when nearly finished Though. It has a lot of potential basically being another socom, I just hope it delivers.
Sony Santana Monica is an excellent competitor. But RAD may become Sonys next big studio, hopefully they buy them in the future

Eh, I personally think MP can sometimes ruin a game honestly. Sometimes devs can put too much focus on making the MP fun and entertaining that it takes away from what the game should be which is a single player experience. GoW Ascension was a good example, although the game was good it wasn't as enjoyable as the first 3 and I think it's cause it was also the firs GoW with an MP mode.
I agree, MS would have to fork up a lot of green to keep it exclusive, but they just might do it especially if it turns out to be as successful as people think it will. It could end up driving the X1 to even greater sales than the PS4 with all these FPS faithfuls running around these days. I too think it'll eventually come to all platforms, but I also think MS would be stupid to allow this game to go multi-plat. On the other hand EA would benefit greatly obviously from an even larger install base, and it would likely cost MS a ton of cash to keep it exclusive, but MS has the cash to throw around and I don't see them allowing what may be their most important franchise this gen to get away. Agreed. MS won't lay an egg though, like Shadow said I think MS hasn't shown their hand yet. The best has yet to come, but the same can be said for Sony lol. PSNow, VR headset as well as their biggest first party studios may change the look of things in a year or two. Naughty Dog and SSM are growing and may produce more than one game at a time, SSM may actually produce two or more projects at a time this gen.
I agree. I honestly think it's unnecessary to buy both consoles, considering the main thing that separates them are exclusives. And with that in mind both consoles maybe put out one to two worthwhile exclusives a year, Imo it doesnt make sense to have both consoles for one or two games a year you could only get on that console.
