Well we know that the only way we get another Jak is if ND is passionate about it and 100% behind the idea, Sony isn't going to push for this so it would have to be ND idea. And going off their most recent projects, I don't see it happening honestly.
I'd be 100% behind a remake of Heavenly Sword, or better yet just a sequel. But 2 games I always thought they should revive on consoles are Syphon Filter and Socom, I know H-Hour is in development and is basically Socom, but I think it would have been in Sony's best interest to fund the game and let them call it Socom.
If it weren't for us "suckers" the malfunctions of launch consoles would not be discovered. Maybe a thank you is in order!
I have recently begun trying to complete a game all the way through, meaning 100 percent completion. I don't really care about unlocking all the trophies but I have to get all the secret items and stuff. I did it with Tomb Raider recently and even AC4 which was a pain considering all the chests and animus fragments I had to find lol.
Uh no, people are buying PS4's for Infamous, The Order, UC4, greater specs and much more. Why again are people buying X1's? O yea...they aren't lol.
Why not the PS3 & PS4
You honestly think a FF game would release on Xbox and not PS?
I think if it was remade it wouldn't come out till like 2016 so i'd say exclusive to the PS4, it was just so important to the PS1 and helped establish the playstation brand. But of course if it were remade it would likely come out on both PS4 nd X1.
No Legend of Dragoon?
Idk about the final blow, let's see what kind of damage Titanfall inflicts and then we can determine if the final blow has been dealt. I just think it's way too early to crown a console king yet, MS still has plenty of time and money to turn things around.
I enjoyed Lost Odyssey so this would be welcome. Unfortunately like last gen we'd probably see a single JRPG on an Xbox console and wouldn't get the chance again till the Xbox 2 comes out...
Well that's why the PS4 is selling out worldwide and the X1 can be found being sold for 100 tickets at Chuckie Cheeses.
It matters in this sense, unless your already determined to buy either the X1 or PS4 something like this could sway you one way or the other. If your trying to decide which console and most games you enjoy playing are multiplat then why not go with the console that puts these games out at a higher resolution? The difference is minimal but why would you go with the weaker console if your having a hard time deciding which to buy. Also dual console owners would likely buy the PS4 version since i...
True but it's not like they'd have to do much to the game but make it prettier. With remakes the story and characters are already set for you, they'd just have to find a different way to tell the story of FF7 with today's hardware and still make it effective, which shouldn't be too hard considering most of us were touched by the story even though the characters had no voice over lol.
Lol I feel ya, but I honestly think it should see some sort of PS exclusivity, considering it's referred to as the game that helped put the PS1 on the map. Idk but when I think of FF7 I think of PS1, same goes for MGS, if that game saw a remake it's only right that it's exclusive to a PS console.
*Mind blown*
No way in hell am I holding my breath for this, but a resurgence of the JRPG this gen is overdue IMO. Bringing back what many consider the greatest JRPG ever is a good place to start. Sony also has the power to remake a classic JRPG that belongs to them, The Legend of Dragoon. Many of us pray we get to revisit this classic but Sony doesn't seem to interested in the idea right now. Too bad, I think it would do nicely and help revive what could be considered a dying genre.
Even if you choose to believe that, it's a pretty solid reason to own a PS4 considering they'd be placing all their eggs in one basket.
Rant accepted and I totally agree, I won't go on one myself but would you agree that this game has the potential to be awesome, especially since it's merged with Eve online and battles can simultaneously go on in space and on the ground?
It's already confirmed to be an RPG i think. And the guy who wrote for Fallout Vegas is writing for the new IP so i'm excited.
