It's way too early to dictate who's going to win this war. MS IMO still has plenty of guns to flaunt as well as Sony, we haven't seen the best of either party IMO. Once Titanfall drops we'll see a spike in sales for the X1, I honestly believe it'll dethrone CoD and cause a few FPS faithfuls to flock over to the new king of the block, that means a few people will trade in their PS4's for X1's just so they can put massive hours online into a new MP shooter. I know it...
Excellent console, a few things it could use to make it even better but so far there's nothing that needs immediate improvement IMO. Love the DS4, it fits much better in your hands and the R2/L2 buttons feel much more natural now. Not to mention the built in speaker is kind of cool, and regardless of what some people may say the touch pad is a nice add, as well as the light bar(dont understand why people want the option to turn it off). Just need more games to play on it, and yes I know S...
I don't think so, I personally think Infamous will sell better but only when it comes to the PS4 v Xbone. Obviously Titanfall is on 3 platforms, plenty of people still have a 360 and even more have PC's or Laptops that support the specs including myself so i'll just end up buying Titanfall for my PC. I think Titanfall will sell much better all together but it won't outsell Infamous on next gen consoles.
All these leaks are forcing me to believe there will be a gameplay reveal in the near future, possibly Nov 22nd?
Man I hope this game wasn't delayed! One of my most anticipated games for 2014.
Proof that people need to realize a screenshot doesn't always represent a games graphics accurately. This looks great but what the screenshots represented don't exactly equal up to gameplay. Any game that you may think looks awesome based off screenshots, just wait until the first official gameplay trailer drops and then you can determine whether the hype was warranted or not. But game looks ok, kind of handles crappy and now it doesn't appear to have a big advantage graphically o...
O yeah I forgot about that game lol. It's in it's very early stages of development but we'll see how it turns out. Sony should have funded the it and just allowed them to use the name Socom IMO, a complete reboot of the franchise would have been nice. Zipper was shutdown but most of the originals behind Socom are working on H-Hour, idk how many guys they have on it but I'd imagine they could have used a little help from some of sony's first party studios.
No legend of dragoon? Lol he was behind that game too! I haven't played a ton of RPG's but i've had my share and TLOG was one of the best i've ever played!
Agree, Tomb Raider is an exception though, awesome reboot.
For PS I think Socom and Syphon Filter should see reboots, both are successful franchises and would be welcomed.
Socom and Syphon Filter should see reboots, classic franchises that have been missing. Both would definitely add a lot of excitement to gaming IMO.
Thief will be the only game I purchase this month.
I wouldn't mind if it never gets a sequel/prequel but I also wouldn't mind if it did. This game was excellent and really brought a certain feel to gaming that we haven't seen in a while with the way the story was told. I honestly think with the success it had, it would be kind of foolish for ND to leave behind what may be it's best game yet, but at the same time, some classic just need to be left alone. But if a sequel is ever announced, how could you not get excited just caus...
Damn you Sony for making us wait! I think RAD will eventually become a Sony first party studio or just continue to make exclusives for them as a SPS, either way the quality they put out on portable devices leaves a lot of optimism for what they will do on a juiced up piece of hardware like the PS4! I'm anxiously waiting to see what the gameplay looks like, I think we'll all be salivating excessively after we watch the first gameplay trailer.
Eh, Gears was fun but i'm kind of like WTF are they going to do with the story lol, I mean without it feeling forced. It's like God of War for me, the first 3 were awesome but that game needs to die and it really irritates me when people seriously believe SSM's ps4 project is another GoW game. They should have killed this game, why buy it from Epic 3 games after it's first entry?
Well I honestly believe there goes Sony's advantage, gaming has not changed much from last gen and I still think the console with the better network and online capabilities as well as games will do best. I am a PS gamer always have and always will be because I just enjoy PS exclusives more, but the Xbox will have Titanfall, Halo 5, and now Gears to carry into battle against what, Killzone? Yeah, things won't change much in terms of where people will be gaming online. I don't know ...
Really glad I decided to revisit this game, it was one of my favs from 2013 and it gives me something new to play while I wait for Thief and Second Son. Graphically this game saw a big improvement, Lara has seen an improvement in detail as well as things like vegetation and water. I'll be holding onto this game for a while to play it again in a couple years or so. The only thing I find awkward about it is the jumping, it's kind of mistimed and just feels off, it's almost like she ...
Exactly, I remember about a month ago someone put out a review on the TLOU, and what do you know, it was one of the very few that gave it a bad grade, it was like a 5/10 or something lol. It was painfully obvious that he was just trying to get reads, I mean the review came out like 6 months after it released lol.
Wow a 4.5 out of 10? Seriously? Lol, I've played this game and its at least a 7. Idk what people were expecting from this game but if you've played previous Killzones it's doesn't exactly try to mimic CoD or BF. I feel like this game see's just awful reviews because people are expecting it to play similar to CoD or BF, it's not the greatest FPS out there but I personally would give it a 7.5.
I thought the PS4 sold better than the X1?
