I feel the same way as the article writer and this commenter, I'm always suprised/annoyed when I see Destiny news on N4G. I understand people still play it, but I still play Diablo III but don't expect every patch and nerfing to get front page news. There are plenty of places for Destiny players to get their news and argue.

I play on the easiest setting that still give me achievements. I don't have any lust for a challenge and I don't need to "defeat" a video game to create a sense of accomplishment. I play games to relax, not create even more stress in my life. I'm not casual, but it wouldn't even occur to me to play a game like Bloodborne. So different difficulty settings is perfect.
When this game was free for a weekend for Xbox Live members I tried it and was absolutely shocked that you don't have to be that mohawk douche on the cover and commercials; it has full Saints Row-esque character customization, male and female. I think if that had been better communicated and the pre-Splatoon art style had been downplayed the game would have done even better.
See again, you are confusing blame with ability. I said 3 times in my comment that 343 should be blamed for MCC. But what happened with MCC doesn't tell us anything about how good or bad Halo 5 will be. There's nothing even for 343 to learn from MCC's disaster.

Halo MCC certainly deserves all the negative press it gets. However I don't understand why the last line of this article, and many of the comments above, continue to fundamentally misunderstand what happened. We continue to hear "I hope 343 does better on Halo 5" or "I hope 343 can redeem themselves with Halo 5", etc.
