Why is everyone dogging on Kotaku for doing exactly what GamerGate demands they do; act like real journalists. That means don't be an extension of the publishers' PR team. Leaks are actual news, in an industry where there is hardly any real news, only marketing.

I would think that right now, with an avalanche of new triple A titles like Fallout, Uncharted, Halo 5, Tomb Raider, Battlefront, Black Ops III would be the absolute worst time to "get into" Destiny. By "get into" they mean of course ignore every other game and simply do crack, ie like hardcover WoW players who can't name another game that came out in the 2000's.

MS deserved all the hate for the launch, but remember that everyone responsible for that is gone. Literally gone. No Video Games should not be more than escapism. I play them so I don't have to deal with the bullshit of the world for an hour or two at night. If I wanted my entertainment to reflect deep isues, I'd watch Law & Order, which I don't.
No its actually pretty bad. Love the game but since you play as Vader as you're installing its the first thing I noticed.
Also is it just me or is Leia the strongest hero by FAR? She's basically a repeating blaster that is hard to kill, while everyone else has single shot guns or must get close.

The answer: she did! It was called the novel Ten Thousand Immortals that came out after the game. All the demons were dealt in an extremely non eventful novel with so we could move on and have Lara Croft adventurer for the next game.

Top thing the next Destiny expansion shouldn't have:
#1: An announcement that it is being worked on or coming out. That way we'll get some brief respite here at N4G before it is released and Destiny players take over the site again.

I'm very excited about this game, but I get less so every time I see anything having to do with Heroes. I turned them off in the previous Battlefronts, and they look worse now.
Whatever. Modern sims like Forza and GT are great. There are plenty of arcade racers for those who just want another adrenaline game. I *primarily* care about the licensed cars and tracks, so let me have my fun.
We could be having this exact same argument over golf games. If you want "excitement" then play Hot Shots, if you actually enjoy leisurely playing on Pebble Beach play Rory PGA. What's the problem?
Wow so Destiny is different now and we should give it a chance? That's very original, I hadn't heard that before. I'm surprised no one has posted a Destiny story here on N4G since the Taken King came out. Back when Destiny first came out, people wouldn't shut up about it, and now... nothing... not a peep...I didn't even realize Taken King had come out way back in September.
I would have loved SP and more day one content, but what it is is great. The world has enough esports shooters, Black Ops III launched at right the same time. Let us Star Wars fanatics have our fluff!
