JRPG renaissance?
It's sad that the "butthole" demographic ruins any reasonable complaints the majority of us honest gamers have with the industry.
There are some DEFINITE gripes that should be leveled against the industry these days, but those complaints are pretty much waylaid the second you get the "butthole" demographic doing really stupid, egocentric things like asking for their money back because they didn't like the ending to Mass Effect, or pirating games fo...
Yeah, totally agree about Vaan. I read that the developers originally wanted to focus solely on Basch, but SE pressured them into creating Vaan because they felt their audience wouldn't relate to a mature, middle-aged man.
It's sad, too. Basch and Balthier are two of my favorite characters from any FF.
Yeah it was great, I agree. Most hardcore FF fans apparently couldn't appreciate the lack of melodrama and romance, but I loved the fantasy politics of it all.
And ironically, when all's said and done, the battle system is not that far removed from previous entries.
More disagreeing with you for missing the point of Abash's post, of which I agree.
That's the most likely scenario. I have no trust in Bioware/EA after all this. They cut me deep. They cut me real deep.
Sex is not the answer. Sex is the question. The answer is yes.
Edit: wtf? double post I guess.
Hmmm...well, I disagree with just about everything he said in that review.
Ah, I see. I misinterpreted your post. My mistake.
Not the point of the article AT ALL. For those that obviously didn't read:
"Of course not every gamer is this bad. In fact when it comes to dedicated gamers who love the hobby, almost all of us are rational, reasonable people. The danger is in the minority who “demand” things, and how their arguments can seem appealing to even the most balanced amongst us."
It's about entitlement, not expressing opinions. It's the difference between disl...
Yeah, this is just getting WAY out of hand. The DLC was a bitch move, and I gotta admit that the ending was quite a big disappointment, but that's the risk you take when you buy video games. I mean, you don't ask for your money back when you see a bad movie, do you? No. You like it, or you don't like it.
It's generally understood in just about EVERY other form of artistic entertainment, that the artistic tastes of the creators and the consumers are not always ...
You know what I appreciate about Dark Souls more than anything? It's all in the game. No flippin DLC that let's you purchase souls or unlock areas. The soul-pinching actually MEANS something in the game. God bless you, From Software.
Christ. My boss just saw me looking at this on the front page. HE FIRED ME!
...what?
Sexuality IS already peppered throughout the main stories of the game ("sexual themes" is in fact listed on the back of the box...), never mind the fact that the MMO community would bring it in spades if the story didn't.
It should be abundantly clear at this point that MMO's are not the most intelligent choice for children going through that impressionable age...you know, that age when the mention of sex morphs their wittle bwains ...
I liked to think that it wasn't just homophobia with Mass Effect, given that it didn't make much contextual sense for just about everyone in the game to be homosexual or bisexual, but if a large number of gamers are complaining about an open-world game like SWTOR including the option...well...I just don't know anymore. I guess it was just homophobia all along.
In all honesty, I don't want them to change the graphics drastically. A nice touch up, comprehensive resolution support and an appealing price is all they really need for these.
Good lord. If this game sells ANY copies, it will literally only be for one reason...
Doesn't really matter. It's beautiful and entertaining.
YOU may know that, but others may disagree with you...I disagree with you, for one. If you asked me, I'd probably come up with the same complaints he came up with. Definitely not a fan of this entry in the series.
