I have a feeling it may be a flop in the eyes of the industry, but I think it will meet my expectations. I am only expecting a decent shooter with great graphics and physics. I am sure it will be fun to play, but I might not play through it more than a couple of times. If they surpass that then great, but I won't get my hopes up.
Don't want to sound fanboyish... but as if the 360 is any different. Gears 2, Fable 2, Banjo... all old franchises. Personally, I have enough games from all consoles to keep me happy around the holiday season.
Because Some TVs (the majority of owners) don't support the best features, and having them on will make it look worse.
I agree that act 4 one was more fun... you should have seen my face when I realized what was about to happen. The act 3 chase is the closest I have ever felt to playing a movie in a game though, so I love that one too :).
Considering that I have other things to do besides play games, and I have other games to play... I'd say I didn't do too bad. I was consistently in the top 3 when I would play. Also I played the beta a lot, so I had more play time during that. Honestly I was taking a guestimate at how long it took too... It came out in like November right? Oh, and you apparently were getting "owned" in English class.
Edit: I talked to a friend on aim who I played with when it was out, a...
They really aren't the same type of game. I prefer MGO. I got sick of CoD 4 after about 1 and a half to two weeks when i hit lvl 55. MGO should last me till Socom I think.
This might be the only game that has ever brought every emotion I could possibly have out of me.
Man, I haven't played Killer Instinct in forever. I hope it is good.
Custom soundtracks are pointless to me. Even if they are implemented, I won't use them. In game chat is just a bonus for me. Everyone I play with on PS3 is on aim at the same time (or we are on skype). I would use the feature sometimes though.
Maybe some sixaxis controls.
Not the best news for me. I am not a huge fan of sci-fi, but I am sure it will be a fun shooter non the less.
Other than "more reliable", I agree with you.
Fine with me. Final Fantasy 13 will last me a while, so I don't need Versus too soon.
If they can make this one reliable, count me in.
That's not a bad thing to me.
Resistance 1
The multiplayer looks incredibly fun. The first one was fun but it didn't keep my attention for too long. This will probably be my multiplayer game of the year (although Socom might have something to say about that). Keep in mind I played the hell out of Gears in multiplayer, but I am still looking forward to this more.
Destructible environments are not as great as people make them out to be. The best PC shooter (multiplayer at least) is still Counter-Strike.
I am not trying to be rude, but if you really think headshots are just luck... then you probably suck at the game. I love it too, reminds me of Counter-Strike where the person who aimed for the head would win.
Make a game worth buying next time.
