So your theory is 2 multiplatform games that are also available on Xbox one and PC somehow pushed the PS4 to sell 2 million worldwide in 1 week? lol
Well in the day and age we live in, I think I'll wait for official confirmation before believing an event person from Ubisoft. I'm quite familiar with hyperbole. ;)
So a third party event specialist is more in the know than even Sony? lol C'mon...
Ouch, this can only mean it's not as big of a success as Sony originally thought. They were claiming shortages ect
Proving my point, absolutely no accountability for Sony.
People want big AAA exclusives for the holidays. You can play multiplatform games on anything. The fact that Sony hasn't been able to push out games like they should is bad enough, but to have people damage control it as a good thing is awful. Sony will never get better if people coddle them and pretend there's not a problem.
They have a huge problem with AAA exclusives this generation, not only in lack of them, but in the delay department as well. Every single maj...
That wasn't us, but looks like the Pro can't even do a lil mo on Black Friday. Can't wait for those November NPD's and all the ensuing excuses from this place and NeoGAF...lol
Was gonna comment, saw it was VGChartz...decides to walk away since those numbers are pulled completely out of thin air.
It begins.
I think that's the problem with gimmicks. They get boring fast. I mean, wasn't everyone enamored with the Wii? How fast did that thing collect dust? Kinect was the same way, it got old fast. People will always go back to traditional controller games, kick back and relax.
It'd make a great launch title for Scorpio, but don't forget every game on Scorpio will work on Xbox One and Xbox One S as well. Microsoft probably just wants compelling exclusives for the launch of their upgraded console to avoid the distinct lack of exclusives Sony has had for the PS4 Pro.
I'm sure Crackdown 3 at native 4K would be a great selling point for Xbox Scorpio.
Well it's pretty obvious, and Sony has already said developers will continue to cater to them as market leaders. However, after speaking directly to a developer, the Xbox One S HDR is truer HDR and needs DX 12, while the PS4 Pro uses more of a filter type of HDR. So basically explains this.
It's not a hardware issue, it has HDR 10. I mean if developers are patching a version of HDR into the old PS4, they surely can do it on the Xbox One S. Games like Forza Horizon 3, Gears 4 and Deus Ex really pop with HDR on Xbox One S.
Why are developers ignoring the Xbox One S and HDR? Seems weird.
Oh please, since Phil Spencer took over they've not bragged or mentioned any numbers. Finally when Frank from 343i was goaded on Sony fan-site NeoGAF, he let it loose that Halo 5 sold over 5 million copies in the first 3 months. People assume that when Microsoft is quiet it means bad things (it doesn't).
Sony on the other hand are always talking sales, sales, sales. Except, oddly enough with PSVR and the PS4 Slim, or anything that's released this year outside o...
One thing I've learned this generation. Sony is always first to brag about numbers. If they've not bragged, it's not good. Going to be a lot of surprised and *Unhappy* people when November's NPD releases.
Nice to see him tell it like it is. He's a bit of an outcast, but probably only because he can't be bought and says what's on his mind instead of getting political about everything.
There's no such thing as worldwide figures, only NPD for America, Media Create for Japan and a form of NPD for the UK. Places like VGChartz are just random guesses at numbers. You or I could start a site and do the same thing.
My post was factual, 1000% increase first week for Xbox One S compared to a mere 200% increase for PS4 Pro. You are the one who's insecure and tried to talk worldwide. Xbox One has won 4 straight NPD's in the largest market for consoles, won back t...
That's not actually a big bump considering sales have been down. In comparison the Xbox One S went up 1000% following that launch.
