Sony loses November, even with PS4 Pro releasing and I'd say it's time for them to panic. Sony isn't in a good spot right now. They've completely reacted to Microsoft's own blunders since the start of this generation, but now under Phil Spencer they've completely turned into a great company that listens to gamers and implements what we want. Sony has been very complacent, and seem to have reverted back to PS3 era mentality.

Well the great services and games obviously. Also, being the cheapest 4K Blu-ray player on the market is absolutely a huge selling point. I think Sony must have forgot that they always used the latest in media on their consoles and that's a huge reason they sold so well. PS1 had a CD player, PS2 was the cheapest DVD player on the market, PS3 was the cheapest Blu-ray on the market. Seems like Sony got outworked on their strategy, But that's none of my business tho.

Right place at the wrong time? It's won the past 4 NPD's and is number 1 in America, UK and Australia right now. I think it's for gamers. It's for anyone looking to explore 4K, maybe as a media and game hub. It's got some top of the line features like HDR and a 4K Blu-ray player, 4K streaming and every game upscales to 4K. I'd say there's a market for that.

Sometimes people are easily fooled by cheesy slogans. Sony has good brand recognition, and sites like N4G and NeoGAF do everything they can to spread fear about things like Xbox One not playing used games, or 720p box. All of which have helped the PS4. We're getting more tech savvy with social media, so these types of lies and FUD aren't working anymore.

And with mainstream media not hyping resolution anymore (due to Scorpio coming next year) people are free to buy...

It hasn't, Kinect broke world records for sales in the first month and ended up selling 30 million units. VR is??

Back to back to back to back! That's quite the comeback! This is what happens when you listen to gamers, implement things like backwards compatibility, EA Access, Elite Controller, more dedicated servers and of course exclusive games.
Nice to see this fantastic turnaround that nobody would have predicted in 2013.
Looks like PlayStation VR needs PlayStation PR. Seems DOA.

Nice to see some truth in a review for a change. A half measure held back by an underpowered original measure isn't going to really show significant improvements.

Nice to see someone who hate so much distaste for Xbox One make the switch. Ideally, gamers should probably own all consoles (although not everyone can afford this). I use my PS4 strictly for the few exclusives, but obviously Xbox One is where I go for multiplats, those exclusives and anything online (Xbox Live).

Xbox One came out in 2013, Forza Horizon 2 came out in 2014 on Xbox 360. Varies other games have come out on Xbox 360 as well since the launch of Xbox One. Rise Of The Tomb Raider (Although timed) was also on the Xbox 360 holiday 2015. Ori And The Blind Forest and Max: The Curse Of Brotherhood were also notable releases.

You mean a VGChartz thread? Since VGChartz is so reliable right? I mean taking numbers out of thin air and putting them on a site is probably totally legit, right?

I thought PS4 fans had gotten over the resolution stuff? Especially with Scorpio on the way. I mean if 900p to 1080p was a big deal to you all, what's 1440p or 1800p vs Native 4K ? I mean I think it'd be best if you act like the rest of the internet (NeoGAF, N4G) and pretend you never cared about resolution in the first place...lol

Also, do some faq checking, there's less than 12 games on Xbox One at 720p right now.

What if I want to play 4K Blu-rays? I mean, is it still better at that point?

The complete Trilogy is also now in the EA Access Vault on Xbox One. Nice to see all my games playable on one console. Props to Microsoft for realizing EA Access is in fact a value for gamers!

False advertising with some smoke and mirrors.

I think we'll definitely see an entry price point at $399, but I'd expect a $499 version with a larger HDD as well. The entire reason for the wait for Scorpio is the more powerful, yet cheaper in price parts that are releasing early next year. Very exciting about this, already switching over to 4K.

Spin much? PS4 Slim was DOA. More of last years COD BO3 PS4's sold than PS4 slims. That slim is the biggest waste ever. Slim consoles are supposed to improve things, not take things away.
