Xbox had a fantastic year! Between the exclusives, the backwards compatibility, the EA Access, simple things like ability to change your name on Xbox Live. Grand slam from start to finish! Absolutely stoked to see what 2017 brings, and we know it'll be bringing true 4K Gaming with Scorpio!
Love how the best arguments in the comment section are all based on VGChartz nonsense. Fact is, Halo 5 hit over 5 million in sales within the first 3 months per Frank himself.
Titanfall 1 sold amazingly well on Xbox One, the second flopped for various reasons. Microsoft has done a fantastic job at getting out old favorites like Gears, Halo and Forza, and new amazing IP like Sunset Overdrive, Ori, Quantum Break, ReCore and next year Scalebound and Sea Of Thieves.
Fantastic ...
Some studios don't wish to be bought, they like the independence. Insomniac Games is one of those that doesn't wish to be purchased. Sometimes just having a steady thing and the freedom of being independent is what they want.
Sony raised PlayStation Plus but still give out indies, no backwards compatibility, can't change my PSN name, can't use external hard drive, no release year let alone release date for exclusives. Every AAA exclusive from Sony has been delayed. Sony said no to EA Access as well, but please continue to tell me how Sony is 4 The Players? lol
Where do they come up with this stuff? This year alone has been fantastic for the Xbox One.
Xbox One S released, the only console with 4K Blu-ray-
Xbox One S introduced us to the first HDR gaming console-
We're at over 300 backwards compatible games now, including Bioshock Trilogy, Red Dead Redemption, Mass Effect Trilogy, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Halo Reach, Gears Trilogy, Call Of Duty: Black Ops ect-
They give out 4 free games a month with GWG, and...
Der PC Master Race.
Native 4K and 60fps on Scorpio please! Can't wait!
One easy thing to do would be to let Microsoft fund Ryse 2, and also buy the IP. It'd be a win/win situation as Crytek could still make the game and it wouldn't cost them anything to do so. Shame we've lost so many studios this generation. Lots of blame to go around, but I'd wager used games has a big portion of the blame. If only some company could come out with a way that developers would get a piece of the pie if a game is bought used ;)
SAVAGE! But I love it!
Love the feature! Always being able to use your game library and controllers/accessories is an amazing prospect for console gamers. Hard to say which I love more on my Xbox One, backwards compatibility or EA Access.
This is the type of nonsense this site allows, yet someone can praise Xbox and get moderated or banned. How is any of what you said on topic? How is any of what you said construed as anything other than trolling? Yet you have 50+ agrees and only 19 disagrees as of right now. That's the problem with this site in a nutshell.
