Gameplay is too broad a word. Game physics and Ai are some of gaming's weakest points, both can be categorized under gameplay although not exactly the first thing people think of when they hear te word " gameplay"
The focus on graphics has been holding back and limiting the evolution of games since the start of the HD era .

Even if someone didn't get horizon because they don't have enough Money or dont want to spend Money for both a new console/game and another game Then i imagine that person would still eventually get horizon if it is a game they want to play.
It is a gimmick. Just like HD graphics and 1080P are all gimmicks. Gimmick isn't a negative word, but or some reason the gaming community loves to use it as such.
Only if you see it as a collector item. If you need help in the game there will be many online sources that are more efficient than flipping through the pages of a large book.
