I hope they don't release another pre-alpha picture.... Seriously what's the point? Don't they have a current ingame image? Unless they trying to lower the already sky rocket expectations people have by showing not expectacular images and people are finally impressed with the new ones... I don't know if that would work 1-2 prior to showing the real thing... they should of done this months before it's released... ala Halo 3... lower people expectations... and then blow them away.
... I am going to wait until they show gameplay at E3... I don't think picture should be used to judge this game... Looks bad? No... but we seing graphics like this before since Nov. 2006 (Gears). Who knows... maybe it would be nice to see a handheld focused on games.. and unlike the PSP not designed to introduce UMD as a movie format... which killed the PSP battery life and increase loading time like crazy... mm... weird it almost sound as if Sony used the same strategy... with the PS3... but blu-ray seems to be working for them. The xboy would be nice if developing games for the xboy and the xbox 360 since they are using they same development tools and xna.. would be almost the same....
That's 2 AAA exclusive xbox 360 JRPG games in less than one year...

Make it poweful enough that it can run all original xbox games on day one... All original xbox games available from the marketplace on day 1.
Allow XNA framework to work out of the box...
All xbox live arcade games available on the xboy from the marketplace on day 1.
Allow the xboy to have access to the movie marketplace, etc.
Allow the xboy to run xbox 360 downloable games and demos.... i.e. ...
NO! No room for more than one console! J/K.
Ofcourse there is room for all consoles and whats even funnier is that regarless of what happends all consoles will have a large enough install base to bring enough revenue to Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo... but.... if we all agree that there is room... then... there is no fun! We needs fanboys and people to believe that their console is better and it takes no prisoners... because it keeps companies from having to spend lots of money on adver...
mmm... you forgot to add one little important variable in the equation... GAMES! And Price! $500 still a big pill to swallow specially for a console that are yet to match the xbox 360 library of games.... and though Sony still hopes that Kill Zone 2 will save the day against Halo 3 that remains to be seem.... yes... lots of people are only talking about 2 things... Xbox 360 ROD and PS3 price drop.... though important.... they are not as important to the gamer as much as the games! Sony better...
