Usually multiplayer is not a detailed and better graphically more superior than single player mode.

They don't have to... as long as they have a precense in Japan to keep those Japanese developer releasing their games to their home land it's all good. Why? cause then those games will come to regions where the xbox 360 is doing great.. like US... I bet you games like Blue Dragon will do great in the US... and money is money... developers will be happy... I think it depends how you see it. Most of the xbox 360 exclusive games are new IPs and may endup being super hits such as Gears of War.
Also people are not considering the domino effect. I think people should start too see what's going on in the game industry. Delays are now a trend for the PS3. I'm glad I have an xbox 360 so I don't have to wait until PS3 good games are released (MGS, FF). Sony can take their time with it. By the time these games start shipping hopefully there is 1-2 price drops. I'm glad I didn't rush to buy a PS3 since I already owned an xbox 360. I think I will be find without a PS3 at least for another year and I can use that money to buy all the xbox 360 games being release.

Ask yourself why apple succeeded? Their ipods are small and very portable. Do you think people wanted Smaller CDs? Sony tried that(MD) ( Even purchased a Sony MD player when they first came out for like $300) with music and failed.
I know people hate to compare multiplatform games. But how else can you tell which console is better(assuming you care to know in order to know which one to buy; and you can't afford both). How can one compare let's say Lair with any xbox 360 game... or Gears to a PS3 game? Agreed! They are not even adding online multiplayer. How hard can it get? You change the name of the game and the characters... and this game would probably get a 6/10. Nintendo can only get away with doing things like this just because we are talking about metroid... which happens to be a very well known IP.
