Japan not liking the xbox 360 has nothing to do with how great the xbox 360 is. The only way Japan will adopt a foreign product is when there is nothing like it on their country... Games is more of a tradition than anything else in Japan... besides one only have to see the success of the xbox 360 on every other country compared to the rest of the world... Once again sony fanboys excercising their stupidity. We are talking about lighting here. It's obvious that the game are displaying 2 different lighting... and this has nothing to do with the power of the console... since lighting is one of the easiest thing to support...
The xbox 360 version looks like it was taken during the winder on a cold day or early in the morning or late in the afternoon... the PS3 version look like it was taken on a bright Sunny day... these can easly be change...

It's not about dislike... it's about reality... I don't hate blu-ray... as matter of fact blu-ray have the lead over HD DVD... and I think blu-ray have a better chance than HD DVD simply because of the studios support... but... these numbers are bad... I am not being negative.. I am being realistic...
What would say if it took sony 6 months to sell 650,000 games... and it's not because there are no enough blu-ray players... there are more than 1 mil in Japan alone that can play...
Companies like Sony and Microsoft need fanboys... they provide a great source of free advertising. That's why developer make comments that they know will cause heat.
Fanboys do not determine which console will endup selling more or which format will endup winning.... the console war is an ilusion... as long as companies make money regarless of who sells more... there will always be another iteration. The fanboys think they can determine who wins... if they make lots of noise......

Are we talking about 650,000 or 650,000,000? you are telling me.. that you are jumping of joy because blu-ray managed to sell 650,000 units in the rest of the world? Total.... and that's enough for you to say that blu-ray is winning the format war.... that's not even enough to even get the money back publisher have to spend to ship to those countries...

It's funny how you rant on xbox live because is a 2D interface... but the fact is that not everything translate well on 3D... Like friend list, achivements, etc... What apeals me about Home is not that it's not 3D... but that it works like The Sims or an MMO... that you can walk around and meet people and do things like play pool, etc...
I think the features that will shine on HOME are non existant on Xbox live dashboard... and they are not suppost to.

one of the main reason why many PC games never see the ligh on consoles is because not every game translate well on controls.
For example, MMOs voice chat may not be possible when you have 5,000 games on a server...
RTS - though games like C&C3 managed to bring RTS to console successfuly... it will be nice to see how they take advantage of shortcut keys to select all units, select squat by number, etc.
Browser - Now that this addon is available...
This game would translate well on the xbox 360 specially with the chatpad.... but the fact is that... They don't have to make it for consoles... they aready making too much money only on PC... they are literally growing money on trees.... I don't think Sony or Microsoft would be willing to pay what they may ask for to bring this to their respective consoles... $100,000,000? this game generates more than that in less than 1 month...
Why not? It's already common knowledge that content on offered for free on other platforms will be also free on the xbox 360. Period.
