Playstation has many 3rd party developers which are prioritising their PS3 projects first.. Heck we even have developers that for no logical finantial reason are supporting the PS3 only. Take Konami for example... Kojima... squaresoft.... you may argue that it's because their games sell better in Japan. well.. EA games sell better in the US... so... why should EA be any different?
I think sony is getting some of what the XBox is being having to deal with.. or even HD DVD.
People are only complaining about Paramount because they know things are going to be more fair for HD DVD than it was before this announcement was made. All Sony fans could do was brag about how much Studio support blu-ray had... and that is the main reason why blu-ray is doing. I think movie studios are stupid. I somewhat agree and disagree. you shouldn't go by one Magazine reviewer... But you should be careful with how Sony fanboys review games too. There are many Sony fanatics here that give all Playstation games a 10/10 even before they've seing actual gameplay footage. As long as is on the PS3 they love it. NOOO! This is the reason I am buying the PS3. I've being saying that when warhawk is released I am buying a PS3. I can't believe this!
I have faith in this game. I will wait until other reviews. Hopefully they are giving bad reviews to this game because the lack of single player and not because the game just sucks. So far the only game that scored high is Heavely sword... but it's not my cup of tea... didn't like or play God of war... I guess I will have to wait for Metal Gear and Fin...
Well... I think I gave you my reasons why I rather have HD DVD over blu-ray with the question I asked. Simply becase HD DVD was here first. So, Blu-ray came after and created this war that no one wants.

The HD DVD disc is designed to be the successor to the standard DVD format, and is derived from the same underlying technologies.
Most HD DVD Disk can be played on standard DVD in one side.. so people can buy HD DVD movies before they buy an HD DV...
I like how Blu-ray lovers are going nuts and saying that paramount sold and was bribed... mmmmm... what different does it make... you still not getting the movies unless you have HD DVD. Just learn to live with it.

Ofcourse.. if you are a Sony fanboy and support blu-ray.. then supporting blu-ray is the only desision... to make. Didn't you hear the % of HD movies being sold? The format war have not started yet. ofcourse a few early adopters got their PS3 or HD DVD addon.. and now they think they already the winning format... but until one of these formats each 51% of movie sells.. it's not over.

Honesly, I think this would work.
Let Microsoft make the SDK, development studios and Network features. It's obvious that Microsoft experience making easy to use tools it's obvious between development against the PS3 and the xbox 360.
Let Sony make the hardware. It's obvious that Sony's experience making hardware that's reliable and durable. Not the PS1 or PS2... but the PS3 is well made...
And let Nintendo create gimick stuff of Casual gamers.

Kind of kool knowing that most of those games will be on the XBox 360... with to exclusive AAA titles.. Bioshock & Halo3... PS3 is starting to see some love during those 2 months with 1 AAA exclusive. and the wii also with 1 AAA exclusive but nothing else.

If you are right about Microsoft paying to keep HD DVD alive... then this can actually work. As long as HD DVD is a live... buying a PS3 to play HD movies will be risky. Do you think Microsoft cares if blu-ray wins after the next xbox is released? It will probably come with a blu-ray or HD DVD depending on who wins. 99% used to be Playstation gamers, that don't mind trying something new and are very happy with our purchase.

I didnt like MGS Online gameplay on the PS2 I don't think I will like it for the PS3... Don't like the gameplay... which is why I am not too crazy about Lost Planet which shares some similarities.
I am buying Metal Gear on the PS3 for the single play, CGI and great storyline.
I will stick to the big dogs of online gameplay... COD4, Battle Field, (was hoping for warhawk), Halo 3 and probably Kill Zone 2.
