I think they were too generious rating this game. Not that they shouldn't have given the rate they gave it. But at least not mention the issues the game have. They mentioned how the game had some framerate issues, some control issues, visual problems with some of the monsters blending with the sky, etc... They had a but.. pretty much for everything. I wonder what's the policy for rating wii games. For PS3 games and XBox 360 games they seing to be tougher...

I always found the boxes kind of funny and fake in Metal Gear. I know the computer are studio and they don't find it weird that a box is laying around.... but online... people will not know a box may have someone in it?
Paramount's HD DVD Decision Is NOT Anti-Consumer... It's anti-blu-ray.
And I am glad. Sony's and their partners (Supporting Blu-ray studio) try to force people to pick blu-ray. Why didnt all studios support both formats and let the consumer deside? Duhh blu-ray was selling more disks... it had more movies... isn't that obvious? If there are 100 movies on blu-ray and only 40 in HD DVD.. isn't obvious that more movies would be sold on blu-ray? I find it so stupid that It's ok for blu-ray...
I agree I don't like the xbox 360 controller DPad for many games like fighters... and the PS2, PS3, PSP have a better DPad.. but the analog sticks and triggers are way better on the XBox 360.
I was very impressed with this demo. I though this game was going to suck... graphically.... Better than COD3.... very smooth. I am buying this game when it comes out... I am a big tired of WW2 games.. but this game... convinced me to kick some more German @$$.
Destructoid's imply that the game sucked. Gaming Today tell why the actual presencentation sucked. Hell.. I am one of those that Love Final Fantasy... but I would find it boring to watch someone else play it... let alone watch then talk to NPC in the game. That's the good thing and bad thing about RPG games... it's all about storyline... you can't expect people to get into it... unless they start from the very begining and even after that... no everyone likes RPG games... specially the press....
The xbox 360 can continue to sell poorly in Japan. Do I care? nope... as long as they continue to rape the PS3 in the US (where I live) I am all good.
There is no need to argue.... I only have to say 1 word and all you Sony fanboys have to eat all your words.... "Online".... That automatically makes the XBox 360 version better. The cell nor blu-ray helped this game get online multiplayer...
Another.... crappy FPS. I am not impressed by this game at all. Aside from the Halo looking armors.... What so special about this game... that COD4 will not pee over it? vehicles? Storyline? Graphics? what? I just don't see it. I think there is a rumor that this game may be PS3 exclusive... I hope is true... they can keep it.
What's with you Sony fanboys? What do you actually believe? First... you were actually sure... that the PS3 was sold out everywhere... (at launch)... and it was not. Then on July you though Sony was going to sell at least 1 Million in the US... and you were so sure (Even Sony was) that the NPD numbers were going to be so high... and it was not the case... you are shown proof and the only way to tell if Sony won in July.. and what do you do? now you say.. the numbers are wrong... seriously... ...
But... what about OpenGL? Microsoft haters... say DirectX sucks anyways... why would it matter to Valve? All of the sudden DirectX 10 is important to the industry?

Just because the wii is selling lots of consoles.. many of you think that Nintendo is generating more revenue than the xbox 360.
Don't forget that 1 The xbox 360 cost more. and 2 the xbox 360 games dominate the top 10 list which bring lots of revenues in royalties every month. Games is the primary source of revenue in the console business ... dont forget that.

Name another upcoming game... That's adding massive vehicles where and maps are extensive as Halo 3. Adding features like this one.. just make Halo 3 even more superior than all the other games fanboys on the other side of the fence keep making so much noise for. That aircraft that drops vehicles and than user controlled elephant will be crazy. Sure many games can add a few more poligons and add some more eye candy... but can they do this?

idiots.. "cars have flappy paddle gear change just under the steering wheels" did you see the guy using the flappy paddle gear once during this video? and by the way flappy paddle are not available for all cars...
It's never too early for a price drop. Besides Microsoft just made it harder for Sony... and proved that they can always drop the price if they wanted to... even after many people though they were not going to do it.. due to the 1.2 Billion bill they had to pay for RROD issues.
I think the price drop did help microsoft... it's the reason why Sony was not able to beat the xbox 360 (NPD) on the month of July. Without this price drop... the PS3 would have taken the month of July.
