I had doughts Microsoft would hit the 5 Mil mark in June. I'm happy I was wrong. Knowing that microsoft have the money to pay the right people; I have a feeling that once again I will be wrong about them hitting the 10 mil mark in Nov. This would mean that the PS3 final specs are finalized and they will have to tell the world about the hardware. If they downgrade the PS3 on anyway they will get flamed for 4 months. They don't want people to be exposed to bad press about the PS3; they know that Sony fanboys would buy the PS3 even if it's not half of what they promised.

I will probably buy a PS3; but first I rather wait till you (the hard core Sony Fanboy) are used as ginnie pigs to test all the non-tested stuff Sony is putting into the PS3(i.e blu-ray, cell, etc). I hope this is a false rumor. The wii should cost no more than $200 for the first year and then drop to $150. $300 bucks too expensive for a damn gamecube with a wiimote. gametime, I'm not one sided. I own every Sony game system and one of my HD-TV is from SONY; I'm also buying the PS3 since I don't have a choice. Unlike you I have the money to buy every system that comes out. I don't have to hate Sony or Microsoft; so my judgment it's not blurred by pockets.

I can see this happening to blu-ray. blu-ray will continue to exist as long as the PS3 exist; just like UMD to the PSP.
