Everyone keep saying linux on the PS3; like this will do any justice. It's not like you will be able to run anything not made direcly by Sony. Did you guys forgot about the PSP? Sony keep destroying everything the homebrew comunity does by releasing an update every 2 months, and forcing you to update in order to play the new games. Do you actually think you will be able to use linux at will on the PS3? I wish!

I think the handheld are dead in the park. I have 2 PSP and one DS, I regret buying them! I played the DS only 3-4 days after purchase. I played a bit more with the PSP but mosly Homebrew. I rather to play PS2, PC, Xbox 360, when I am home. And when I am on the train, I usually read or listen to podcast.

I was thinking about the same thing. Give me mario any day, but just the control is not enough to make a good FPS. It will probably be the best wii gamers will get but Xbox 360 or PS3 gamers wouldn't trade whats coming for this...

I agree with you about the Cell, I believe it will be a great piece of technology that will change how other companies like UMD and Pentium should move next. I don't see the cell being as the only CPU in the world; since it is not practical for all applications. I agree as to not wanting microsoft to become a competitor for Pentium, ATI, IBM, and other companies in the PC industry.
