Who gives a s*** about all this! I believe that as consumer everyone is entitle to know the specs of the device they are buying. Is this even legal? well, well, well. I see that now that the PS3 is having compatibility issues, do not bring any improvements to previous games they will no longer complain about the 360 compatibility. Finally one more thing drop from the flame list. 1080P support - Check!, PS3 has compatibility issues, no HD upscale for movies and for dvd - check! Can we NOW concentrate on which system have the best games?
Well, it depens how you look at it. I for once prefer that the 360 upscale to HD the games and the dvd movies. They also have a team working on adding more and more titles to the backward compatibity list. Now the PS3 brings no improvement to the PS1 or PS2 titles. Is this good? I don't know. I believe that both consoles are capable of generating good HD graphics. And as much as I like to trigger Sony's fanboys I don't think this pictures are real. This would be an insult to the PS3 and I know the PS3 can do better than this. If this is true, Namco was lazy... Sucks! I refuse to believe this is real. Why! Why! Ok, I am confused about this. Why do they say "another OS"? Do they mean, you can install linux? Can you install OS10 or Windows XP on the PS3 or they just saying another OS to sound cool?

I know this is something that Sony's fans would hate. The the fact is that Microsoft needs a deal like this. Sony has the unfair support of all major Japanese developer in Japan and microsoft does not. Even if microsoft buys Capcom, Sony would still have the advantage (Kojima, Square, ... and the list goes on). It is funny how it is ok for Sony to have have exclusive content .. but not for Microsoft. I think microsoft should try to adquire Capcom since it will at least put them in a possition...
Stop this already! How much time does Sony needs to prove that the 360 is a piece of crap as they say it is. "Maybe within a year.", great! So, now everytime a game come out for the 360 that shows better graphics than the PS3 games or equal graphics it will mean nothing! That's right. And if I am not mistaken not all versions of linux will work on it either. I think the version of linux that can run on the PS3 is a custom version designed to work with the Cell. I also don't think that every program will run on it. I think they have to be signed for the Cell.
When Sony said, they were adding the PSOne and PS2 hardware into the PS3 they literaly meant just that. The reason why the 360 can do it, it is because it's emulating and therefore it can modify the video output before is sent to the tv. This is one of those areas where emulation has its advantages. This is good and bad, the good: most games will work out of the box, the bad: don't expect any improvement on any of these games.

By the look of it, they build it strong. Lots of metal. How much does it weight? Is it heavy? Not that it matters since no one will have to hold it while playing it. It's just information that's good to know.
Now this is what I call choice. Sony's fanboys can talk all the want about but a $200 for an HD-DVD drive that works on the 360 and on a PC is great. I guess not having an integrated HD-DVD player it's not so bad after all, ehh?
