power of green II is right about saying, "Just because Sony has the Blu-ray drive in the PS3 that makes less peripheral based?." (Expect peripheral for the PS3 or even the wii). How close to the real experience do you think this motion sensitive idea will take you? Which one feels more like the real thing, steering wheel or a motion sensitive controller? A light gun or the wiimote. Lets not forget the force feedback, brakes and gas pedals, stick shift, etc that the wii nor the ps3 r...
This is why we are not where we should be when it comes to technology. I can see how Sony can be sued when it comes to this. This is also the reason why we will not see digital distribution for a long time. I'm sure this people just want to be bought by microsoft. I am sure they will not be making a console like the 360 and distributing media through it.
I will look forward to this title.
true, but maybe wii 3 will 15 years from now.
XBox 360 with all these features $399, PS3 with none of these features $599, microsoft expanding the network the way they did with xbox live $Millions, look in your face when this service become the next xbox live for entertainment [priceless].
I am wondering if some of you have a 360. I was playing this demo just now; and everyone I play with love it. There is even a review in joystiq where they rated good. I understand if you don't like this game, but it plays the same way as "single player demo" but with 16 people. game play is the same. How else did you expect this game to play?
For those that [do own a 360] try this demo yourself and don't take everything people say as a fact (not even myself).
I give kudos to Sony for advertising blu-ray as much as they are doing. It's almost as HD-DVD supporters don't care if HD-DVD wins. You don't hear much about HD-DVD.
GT does not have damage? How innovative.
And this is a sign of a fanboy's frustration and lack of creativity in the art of word mastership. Why don't you go and enjoy your PS3 consoles and all the 10/10 games available for it. You may be able to diss us about the HD-DVD player which as a gamer we don't care about, but what system lets you play with the best games in the market? Jump in!
Yeah, bandwidth is a problem. It will take 5 times more servers than what's needed for game servers. I'm sure microsoft has a plan for this; kudos for microsoft for jumping into this. It will be a while before this will be smooth. But this is a start and it's better than nothing (which is what every other console is offering).
I wouldn't doubt this is true. Nintendo is know for doing this. They did it with the gameboy, they did it with the DS, why wouldn't they do it with this. I believe they will released like 4 different wii versions. First they will start with the colors; some idiots will buy into this and own 2-3 version of the same machine (including pink), then they may reduce the size of the console and some idiots which already own the original and the pink one will buy the smaller version. After that they ...
Who knew people would want downloadable hd movies instead of blu-ray...
Would you care to mention the rest of the world? How about europe or US? Did the PS3 more units than the 360 in europe or US?
Owned!
I like your logic. Too bad it does not work. Why? Because there is a small little console and a tiny little company called microsoft that does not charge game developers to advertise their games by publishing their demos. Where do you think these developers will go? Yes... to the 360. Eventually if you wan't to play demos you will have to get the 360 or subscribe to a magazine. It cost developers enough developing games for the PS3; what make you think they are willing to pay more to advertis...
How misleading this is. Haha!
Wait until next month numbers. The 360 Blue Dragon pre-orders were over 100k. (which are not included here). It's launch day for Sony; was anyone expecting any different? Lets see next month when blue dragon comes out the the PS3 suffer more shortages.
One thing I used to love when a game would come in multiple disk is that I could lend a friend the first disk when I was up to the second or 3rd (My friends and I shared games like MGS and FF for the PS1). I also liked on the PC for example when Command and Conquer would come in 2 disks and would be able to run it in 2 computers and play against one of my friends. I honestly prefer having to get up to switch a disk after 20 hours of game play and have these options.
I really hope most ...
What kill Sega was not the system but their marketing strategy and the internal management of the company. You can hate Microsoft as much as you want, but one thing is certain Microsoft do know how to sell a product. And they are very determined to conquer what they seek. What make anyone think that Microsoft will quit now when they are about to make the 360 a chicken that lay golden eggs? If you don't believe me then explain why Linux is not the #1 OS even though Linux is free and windows is...
How is this a bad thing for microsoft? Microsoft makes money regarless, + this sounds to me just like another reason why not to buy a PS3. At least the hottest 360 games will be avaiable on the PC for those that don't want consoles, something that Sony can't do. This simply shows who got bigger pockets and who will rule the gamming industry.
"4GB" dream on. Sony makes more money on memory sticks than selling PSP. Now that they are pushing PS1 games digital distribution you will see a big increase in memory stick sells. Eventhough technically possible not putting any internal memory that gamers can use is a very smart business strategy. Sucks for gamers, good for Sony.
