You obviously never tried BFME2 for the xbox 360. I am a C&C fan since red alert 1 obviously on the PC. I still play Generals. I've looking forward to these games to come to the XBox 360. I agree with you on the points you made. but would like to mention that there are a group of kids that don't have a consoles because the parents don't have the money (that's what they say) or don't feel happy spending $250-$600 for a game console. Most of them may already have a cable tv box at home. If IPTV it's released at a afortable(same or less than conventional cable tv services) price why wouldn't they get it? I agree that no all games should have multiplayer. Not that this will make the game bad, but it will reduce how long you will be playing the game (Multiplayer is the reason why people still play Halo2, CO2, and other games), unless of course they stay on top of it by releasing new stories and quests ala Obviblion.
Not only that you have the Sony fanbase numbers all screw up but you forgot his interest on PC development. Which happends to be 100% microsoft fanbase (remember you need windows is needed to run these games?) what would the install base on PC is? Let just count the 200-300 Mil PC gamers. Also, his interest on PC development may be triggered by liveAnywhere, anyhow in the PC world Sony have nothing on Microsoft. Heck, even Sony's Laptop and PC run microsoft windows (how ironic).

Honestly I agree with you. I really had to try my best not to say anything about the, "Im willing to wait just as I waited a whole year to play a killer 360 game."... But I restrained myself to not cause a flame war. I think sony fans deserve to hear some good news. I don't blame you though, but dont fall for flame war fishing from fanboys. All I can say to Sony is to be careful. If this deal goes, the XBox 360 install base may be so big and probably unstoppable (At least in the US). If every cable box AT&T brings comes with a built-in xbox 360 in it, people would be getting an xbox 360 for free. I don't think Sony or Nintendo would like to be in the position where a wii costs $250.00, the PS3 costs $600 and the 360 is free with a 1-2 year contract with one of these cable tv service provider. Who gives a crap... The 360 already have a big enough installbase to be profitable to game publishers and developers. That's all that matter. If you don't believe me then ask capcom, and all the others developers laughing at those developers that didn't want to support the 360.
From now on, it does not matter to the 360 gamers how many more consoles microsoft sells. Lets just hope that the PS3 gets there.
