I have this game and the story gets a bit anoying for the most part. There is also certain character that is trying to hard to show his/her true nature and his undying love towards another male character. I'm not condeming the fact that the character is gay but the character is trying too hard to show that he is and even if they added a character that is trying too hard to be a macho it would also get anoying. Avoid this game. The story line sucks. Wait for Final Fantasy if you want a real RP...
The game looks great. And it will probably be the most realistic game. But which picture(s) are you refering to? I don't think they look photorealistic just yet though.
This is good news for PS3 owners. I really hope this game is a AAA and it does not turn out to be an adverage game or we are going to have some intensive flame wars around here.
HDMI may not bring any benefit in terms of video games and for the most part it's just great for movies too. But this is not about functionality or doing what works. It's about marketting. It's about not having something that the kid down the block has and you don't. Most people will never use it, and components are doing the trick. all you have to do is check the forums. I am not saying that people did that, but the use of gamertags proves nothing unless their poll was linked to microsoft database and required gamertag authentication the way major nelson website does.
I don't know if you should wait for an xboy since the handheld market is a bit saturated by the DS and it seems as it's only room for the casual gamer on these things. Congratulations to Sony. Sony did a great job in shipping enough consoles to supply all the people that have being waiting to buy one for many months. The PS3 blu-ray drive is slow compared to dvd drives such as the xbox 360 drive. The interesting thing is that blu-ray give developers more rooms to store in the disk and less speed to read from it. That's why developers have to find work arounds such as pre-installing some of that data in the hard-drive before playing the game. I agree that games will. But one can't deny that Sony will not be able to use the "we have HDMI and a bigger hard drive" as much as they used to for marketting purposes.
