Sony <> PS3. Sony makes lots of money on those HD TVs and other electronic devices such as cameras. I video and digital camera are both Sony.
Developers are in a mission to make us look stupid while playing games... as if is not enough that most people think we refuse to let go the games and grow up.
Are you saying that Sony want microsoft to have a huge market share before they can start competting? I believe that would be the case if it was just about the games and Sony does not care about money. If that's true they will be playing a very dangerous game. If the xbox 360 continue to gain marketshares the domino effect will happen. 3rd party developers will make games primarity for the 360, the 360 will have more games, and more people will buy the 360 to play those games.

As a gamer - does the 360 have any good games?
As a company - Were they able to succesfully introduce themselves into a market known to be one of the most difficult market to survived (Only room for 1-3 companies, unlike other markets).
As much as hate microsoft and wish it would fail, they are meeting both of those criterias; so where is the failure?
What's funny is that if MAC or Linux would be the mainstream or be used more than windows they would be having security issues.

1) There are 2 types of gamers, the ones that purchase a console to play the games that (will) come out and hope promises of good experience are delivered and the gamer that purchase a console for what the console is offering now... you are the belong to the first category, you pay now and expect to play later. Obvious response. When developers have to worry about only one patform and only one game it's easier. "the PS3 isn't that hard to code games for, after all" in reference to what? 3rd party developer have a difference perspective than 1st party developers or developer making exclusive content for a single patform.
