They got bite in the @$$ for not following the steps of other developers... which is to show CGI and not game play. They showed gameplay too early in the development cycle. It's not like they have to prove themselves more than any other developer... their mistake was simply that... It would happen to any other developer that shows their work to early... They though people would understand the difference and obviously people didn't.
I will miss E3... this event will suck.

Windows also Runs OpenGL... DirectX 10 has a lot more features and it's easier to use than OpenGL which is why most games developed use DirectX. So, you can use those lame anti-microsoft crap all you want.. but until Mac give users more than 1 option(openGL) which is not even given by mac they will have a hard time convincing developers to make games for the mac... why dont they make their own version of OpenGL or DirectX? If they are so good at what they do?

I think after all these comparison it's safe to say that the PS3 and the 360 are very similar in power.
I think the reason why people are so hard on the PS3 is because they expect the games (specially ports) to be $300 better. The 360 core can run this game too and the PS3 is 300 more expensive. Yes yes.. we know the PS3 has more features and has the cell and wifi... but as far as playing these games that means $h!t since it does not make much of a difference when you are playing them. I don't want to hear any games to look better on the 360 or the same it has to be $300 better period.

That's not a fair comparison, considering the fact that the 360 sold more than 1 Million console only in the US for the month of december. You may say... well that's unfair since all consoles sell great in december... true.. but another person can argue that people being waiting for the PS3 in europe for more than 1 year and had pre-orders for ever or that many hold their december purchase until the PS3 release date.
