Yes, you can extend you warranty now. Just call microsoft and tell them you would like you purchase the extended warranty.. I did that. I purchased mine from dell. Heck... I have a friend that waited until his die.. he still had the 1 year warranty... so he got an extra year (you get it once you get it fix)... then he called (after fixed) and asked to add extended warranty (only like $60) now he got 3 years.
So Ninja Gaiden Sigma running at 1080P? well, put it this way. It looks far from realistic. Heck, it does not even look as realistic as Gears and it's only running at 720p. People should understand that hi-res does not improve the realism of the game, it helps make the image sharper in big screens where it's really needed. Since as screen gets bigger the images gets blurrier. With small screen 21' HD means crap.

Not all games made for the wii will work property when ported to other consoles or the other way around.
Yes, but they got a point. It would make more sense to first get to the point where games are photo realistic before trying to increase resolution. If any game can achive photorealism at 480p/480i it would still look better than a game at 1080p. Why? well simply because it looks real. And nothing gets better than real.

I added an extra 2 years warranty on my 360 + the standard 1 year... Microsoft will not even charge you to ship the console for repare/replacement. So, the only anoyance is not having it for 5 business days. So, to be honest with you it can break every six months and I wouldnt lose sleep over it. As matter of fact there are times I wish it breaks so they can add new parts (i.e. change the dvd drive)... Like I said before, the wii is fun... but that does not mean it will not get old fast and that many great games will come.
My HD tv does not support 1080p and I guarantee you that most of you complaining or feeling betrayed about microsoft new SKU don't own a 1080p capable TV but want one anyways for the sake of the so call "future proofing" yourselves. Motorstorms looks pretty but that's basically it. ohh yeah.. when you crash you can see all the pieces flying which gets old once you see it once.

PS2 or Sixaxis controller is better than the 360 to play games like street fighter and games where the Dpad is a better option. Sixaxis suffer the same problem that the PS2 controller had for FPS or gamers where the analog sticks are to be used. I remember having to shake my hands after playing some games on the PS2, my hands would hurt and get numbed.
