I'll take Francis over Angry Joe any day of the week.
Said no one ever. Except the rabid ponies around here, and they really shouldn't count.
Go check metacritic and tell me what the review averages are for Forza 4 and GT5. I'll give you a hint, Forza 4 wins.
HA! Good one! Oh wait, you actually believe that? Did you stop taking your meds?
It still seems really dumb for Sony to be the ones to bring up that comparison. Sure it may end up being a good game, but it is highly unlikely it will ever be on the same level as Halo.
Edit: What's up with the disagrees? Did I say something controversial? I mean, do you honestly believe that a F2P port from PC will be Sony's Halo killer?
@Static:
Yeah, I said you need to download a file that lets you play campaign. You do need internet. However, you do not need to be connected to the internet after that update is downloaded.
I know on 360 I had to download some kind of update before I could play single player. Maybe that's all this is.
Edit: lol @ the disagrees. Pony up!
He's not banned. His console just can't connect to XBL until launch.
Didn't you know? Anything that isn't completely terrible for MS is absolutely untrue. Mark Cerny is God.
It's not true. What is true is that only your progress in the last 5 things you do is saved. So if you play CoD, then use 4 other apps you can still go back to your progress in CoD. If you open a 5th new app before going back to CoD, you can no longer resume CoD from where you left off.
lol, pretty much 90% of the games listed for PS4 are indies. How can you possibly call this PS4's win?
"Except I haven't. Only you think that discussion and criticism somehow means a lack of enjoyment."
Then why do you want gaming journalists to focus on an aspect that doesn't really matter to the overall enjoyment of the product?
I just find it insane that people like you have suddenly made resolution into the premier metric for determining what games are fun. It's laughable, especially after the last 8 years when it was all about exclusive games since PS3 multiplats were under-performing.
Cool. Keep fighting the good fight SilentNegotiator! I'll be enjoying games while you do.
I honestly think it more shows the sad state of the gamer. People are more concerned about squabbling over resolution than they are about the actual games.
Yeah, another "article" by someone whining that resolution isn't the only thing all gaming publications are talking about.
But this one also supposedly has an upgrade system similar to ME3's reinforcement packs (complete with optional microtransactions), and I was hoping the microtransaction model would mean free DLC like in ME3.
N4G needs to stop posting "articles" from this ridiculously biased sensationalist website. They're just writing to get hits, and N4G just enables them. And to all the Sony supporters that will descend on this article in droves to ridicule MS, let me just point out that you haven't seen the PS4 OS outside of controlled demos either.
The Pub Fund is a very real thing. Sony pays indies in exchange for timed exclusivity on their games.
But "gamer" is completely accurate. He's not a journalist, he's just some guy with a youtube channel.
