So tacked-on multiplayer in single player focused games is bad but tacked-on single player in multiplayer focused games is necessary? Why?

What I don't get is why pictures of stacks of consoles somehow means they're not selling. Retail stores don't just buy stacks of things to have them sit in the stock room; if they order in a bunch of consoles it's because they're selling a bunch of consoles.

Cool, I'd like to see some more kinect focused games. I'm not a huge fan of kinect being a focus in big games, but in smaller arcade type games kinect can be a lot of fun. I really enjoyed Fruit Ninja and Gunstringer, and D4 looks pretty interesting. Hopefully this guy can do something fun with kinect.
I thought Sony made a deal with Viacom, so the service will probably include things like MTV, BET, CMT, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Spike, TVland and VH1.
I'm sure you support and defend Killzone Shadowfall MP and that's 'only' 7v7. When did player count become the premier metric for determining how fun an online shooter is? I'll tell you when: when the biggest upcoming shooter is 6v6 and isn't on PS4.

How is a game rental service a game changer? I mean it's cool for people who might have missed some of these older games but I don't see there being that much of a demand for renting these old games. If they added new PS4 games to the service then I could see it being popular, but I doubt they'll ever do that.
MS is pretty good about only announcing games that are a year or less from release. Sony on the other hand...
I'd say there's a better chance of Halo 5 in 2014 and Uncharted 4 in 2015 than the other way around.
Fine by me. Killzone is super pretty but there's a reason people are trading it in like crazy. Make the gameplay great and people will play it.
Xbox One OS is great. It's not without some problems like parties and notifications but those require bug fixes, not OS overhauls.

Right now it's just a concept. The developer has no publisher, and I doubt they can fund the game on their own.
Yeah, I refuse to get too excited until it gets a publisher. I hope it does though, the concept is definitely interesting.
