Worst waste of time article I've ever read. None of the games listed even had stories that warranted endings. I came here expecting a serious article with thought provoking choices and instead I got trolled.

So did Ubisoft at least get Mel Gibson to reprise his role in The Patriot: The Videogame?

Yeah, but the savefiles are in KB or MB at max. Not really taxing on even a 4GB hard drive.

I don't see why you couldn't just copy it back. As long as the gamertag that the savefile is associated with is on the xbox, there should be no problem.

How is this an issue? Just move the files back from the cloud to your hard drive.

It is sad to see the direction that most developers are going, especially Bioware. Just a couple of years ago, they were probably the best single-player RPG developer out there. With amazing games such as Baldur's Gate, Knights of the Old Republic, Neverwinter Nights, Jade Empire, Dragon Age and Mass Effect. But somewhere along the line they seemed to decide that they weren't making enough money and started to shill for more sales. Look no further than the changes between Dragon A...

I don't think you understand programming. Sure, maybe they've done some voice recognition stuff before (although I can't think of any game offhand) but just because it works in one game engine doesn't mean it will work the same in another. It could create all kinds of bugs and errors that require time and effort to iron out. However, since Kinect already has the software optimized on xbox 360, it takes little time/effort/cost for a developer to make use of it and add the vo...

OK, once and for all since I'm sick of all the "why are the voice commands only on kinect" questions, it's because the kinect has built-in voice recognition software. Bioware had to do next to nothing to implement voice recognition because of this.

Having played the demo with kinect, it absolutely does improve combat. It feels so much more fluid just saying what to do rather than pausing the game and selecting it from the radial menu. I feel that the dialogue is just kinda cheesy though. I don't need voice recognition for things that just require one button press.

@Foliage:
Fluff made for a casual market? You mean like Move? I'll take kinect over a glowing dildo any day of the week.

Pretty sure the kinect actually has built-in voice recognition so that EA/Bioware doesn't actually have to do much programming to add voice recognition.

It's too bad it's not still a 360 exclusive. If it was, bioware could make the decisions made in ME1 have a greater impact on the events of the game. But since PS3 doesn't have ME1 and bioware doesn't want to screw over their ps3 customers, the choices made only have minor impacts on the story.

Say what you will about kinect, but in this instance it does actually make the game play more fluidly. I love just saying "shotgun" or "Liara, singularity" rather than having to pause the game to select them from a radial menu. I agree it's stupid for dialogue and for open/activate/bypass, etc. but it's awesome for squad commands.

Who cares about slight differences in graphics? The only thing that should influence your choice of what system to play on is what system you played the ME2 on.

The controller is one thing that keeps me from trying PS3. To me, it's really no contest that the xbox controller is far superior to playstation's. And you point out free online, but I think that most people who have both will tell you that while PSN is good, XBL is a better service. For these reasons I'm leaning towards staying in Microsoft's camp unless it becomes apparent that they're focusing too much on kinect and abandoning the traditional gaming experience. Then...

I don't really get the fuss over rrod. I've personally had 5 but since each time you send it in they give you a new warranty, I've never had to pay for any of them.

I'll have to wait and see how kinect-focused the next xbox is. If microsoft chooses to push out shallow gimmicky games built for kinect and stops making exclusive titles that I want to play, I may have to switch to playstation. I'm sure that MS sees the kinect sales figures and is extremely happy, but they need to realize that if people know from the console launch that they are dedicated to producing stupid, mindless, crappy kiinect games they will loose a lot of more traditional ...

I agree with most of the games on the list, but not the order. ME3 is definitely number 1 for me. I understand Naughty Dog's track record is amazing, but we know nothing about The Last of Us. We know a lot about ME3 and Bioware's track record is equally strong (really Dragon Age 2 is the company's only game that is not great). That's also why I'd be hesitant to put Halo 4 that high, simply because we don't know anything about it.

Oh, and there'...

Man, they're not fixing my house? Hjerim would easily be the best house in the game if all the displays actually worked.

still, I'd rather play it on my console than have to pay $500+ just to upgrade my pc to play it.
