The article says that it's exclusive to ps3 in Japan, so maybe it will be multiplat elsewhere a la Final Fantasy XIII. I really hope so, because I loved vesperia but there's no way I'd buy a ps3 just to play the next tales game.

I'm a college student, and sometimes my workload can be overwhelming. Sometimes it really helps me to relax and clear my head if I play videogames for a while. I need the distraction, otherwise I'd just get burned out from all my course work.

Halo isn't about the graphics, it's about the amazing gameplay both online and offline. Sure, Halo 3's graphics don't compare to Killzone 2's or Uncharted 2's, but let's see how many people are still playing those games 5 years down the line. I'd also be willing to bet that all the people saying the graphics suck are going to be the first ones to say how awesome the new multiplat project looks regardless of its visuals. In other words, PS3 fanboys.
What makes you think FFXIII isn't using the full power of the PS3? Also, Blu-ray has nothing to do with better in-game visuals or better game performance, it's just a larger storage media that allows for developers to put in uncompressed cg and sound.

It never said that it had anything to do with Halo Reach. I think that it could be from a live action movie.
Their numbers are wrong according to vgchartz. Also, why no Halo 3? It sold as much as MGS4, GT5 prologue and Uncharted 2 combined.
Why would MS need blue ray? If they make their next console with a sufficiently large hard drive, then there's no need for discs at all. How much space do current ps3 games take up? 25gb? If the hard drive were somewhere in the 1TB to 4 TB range, it could hold anywhere from 40 to 160 ps3 sized games (1TB hard drives go for around $100, so it's not unreasonable). Plus with HD streaming becomming more readily availiable, the need for discs is rapidly decreasing.
Why is everyone saying that the 360 gimped the development? If anything, the PS3 gimped it. I've never seen an article saying that the PS3 is easier than the 360 to develop for, but I have seen many saying the 360 is easier to develop for. Eagerly awaiting BF:BC2. When I got the original Bad Company Rush mode quickly became my favorite mulitplayer mode of any game, so I'm excited to play it with updated weapons, maps and graphics. Plus, I get my defibrillator paddles from Battlefield 2 back!
Yeah, the second I saw the extremely linear maps of the game progression and heard that there would be no real towns/cities, FFXIII really dropped on my most anticipated games list. Here's to hoping I'll agree with GI when it comes out.

Pretty good list, except for modnation racers. Face it people, it's a kart racer with some customization and a track editor. I'd rather see White Knight Chronicles or (since it says games that aren't sequels and not new franchises) Halo: Reach.
I'd like to see your source for total games sold. I highly doubt that the ps3 beat the 360, and I really don't think that either beat the wii in software sales.
Why is everyone getting all up in arms about this article? He says that he prefers GoW, and that he probably won't even buy reach. He simply states the fact that reach will outsell GoW. And it is a fact. Reach will sell 10-15 million, GoW will be lucky to sell 5 mil. Reach may outsell all 2010 PS3 exclusives combined.
When has any shooter that is multiplat sold better on PS3? Even if there is a beta on PS3, Bad Company 2 will sell better on 360...
