Higher quality compression, far better value on hardware, extra's included on disk (rather than having to download from Sony's Online service), better independent review scores from both online & print publications. If as these polls prove most of the intelligent public pick the higher quality HD DVD, the majority of publishers will follow.
Here's the proof-

I was lucky enough to be invited to Londons Atari HQ last week, the Graphics have really improved since the last marketplace demo, the loading times and handling have also been improved a lot. Well worth grabbing especially for the Live multiplayer, loads of DLC is already planned as well (cars, clothes, music). Theres a new demo due for download next month before the 8th September release (definite date, they told me 3 times).
I looked at the site for the developer & game and it mentions Xbox360 and PC but no mention of PS3, are you sure?
In 6 months time they'll also back HD DVD, I hope so anyway it's the far better format. It'll be a shame not to buy Disney, oh well they'll see the light eventually.
I've just listened to it and its well worth the download, also the new official site for the brand new Hi-Def HD DVD format is up now (as part of their new $150 million campaign)

This guy is really putting his work before his life, is he married (I bet his wife hates the word P*********n).
I think Bill & Satoru should give him some advice on how to cope with stress.
So to get any extras on a bluray movie disk, you have to become a member of their online service, which means you also have to have a broadband connection (not every consumer has). This sounds like a step back from regular DVD's !
I have a lot of friends who are going HD DVD, most of them don't care about bluray. One of them even thought it was just the playstation format, not realising it could do films.
This may have been written by a Sony fan, but with that 'old' bit of good news, I think you've done more harm than good!
Every Wednesday from now on, a new arcade title, brilliant!
Froggers already here, then:
July 12 – Frogger
July 19 – Cloning Clyde
July 26 – Galaga
August 2 – Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting
August 9 – Pac-Man
and so far 29 more after that including Track & Field, Contra, Defender, Ultimate Mortal Kombat and loads more, take a look:-

Spend half the cash and go for HD DVD, its just had its picture enhanced and is getting better reviews anyway.

Just a mistake I'm afraid, nothing happening between them. :)
PS3, "an opportunity for the developers to save money on bug testing", what a ridiculous idea.
The HD-DVD format has just increased its picture quality still further, using new compression technology, it will be included in every HD DVD player including the Xbox360 add-on.great news!

It's what its actually saying thats the problem, this is Sony at its worse!
look at the date :)
They're titles that are already available on the 360. Give us a reason to buy the PS3 not something we can play elsewhere.
We want to see Virtua Fighter (we dont want to have to wait till March)
I think the image is the problem, the PSP is having trouble selling in our store as it is, and this certainly won't help! Shock advertising (which Sony are masters at) sometimes works, but the violence issue combined with the colour issue, whether its black on white or White on black, will not help its image, Sony, sorry this time you're wrong.
I'm really looking forward to this, with so many shooters and driving titles, the Xbox360 needs a title like this, Rare are the masters of family titles, great stuff!
