I love the look of Motorstorm, nice graphical effects but the game itself runs so slowly. It's not slowdown, it is meant to run at that speed but it's just too slow. IGN even commented on it in their preview.
The PS3 Devil may cry also has the same slow speed (especially on the flaming end of level boss), I wonder if its the blueray drive to ps3 memory transfer that causes it? The games look really nice, I just wish they ran at a faster speed.
The next full Ninja Gaiden 'Proper' is just for the Xbox360.

Bluray is just unreliable and expensive, the ps3 delay is purely down to not being able to manufacture enough working drives.
The ps3 sales will not significantly increase the sale of bluray movies, games players have never used their games machine as the primary player.
I think HD DVD will rightly become the movie format, while bluray will sit at the heart of the playstation 3's games division.
My girlfriend actually thought that was really funny and agreed with a lot of the comments, she thinks a pink playstation is ridiculous too.
including the consoles, PC drives and actual DVD hardware, my household has 9 DVD players already.
I think using the Wii as purely a games console will make a nice change.
It's just too much cash for a games console (and not being able to play HD DVD's doesn't help it's cause).

Sony obviously had to book (and pay) for the space months in advance and even though the PS3 won't turn up, the advertising boarding still has to sit there.
I would imagine a lot of pointless cash has been spent by Sony, that now will be written off.
Shame the advertising space couldn't be sold on at short notice, never mind.
Microsoft know the software inside & out and are able to upgrade and constantly monitor at will.
Sony, going for the fast and easy route are going to be relying on a lot more people and are not going to be able to control the system.
Mark my words, it's going to hit both sony and PS3 owners and everyone knows that. :)
What a sad state for Sony to be in, hardly any consoles at launch, worldwide launch scrapped because they can't get enough working bluray drives made and now they don't have any choice but to get ports of old games.

Truth is nobody believes Sony any more, I have sold a lot of Xbox360's in the last two days to what used to be Sony fans. Both playstation & bluray are now starting to be looked on as vapourware and unreliable by almost every customer (no matter who they supported before).

We all new Sony were making this playstation think up as they went along, and b**********g constantly.
But it seems that it's taken all this time for this poor Sony Europe guy to find out.
It's got to be hell going in to work in the morning, just to get an email from Japan saying, sorry we can't make enough that work properly. :(
At least now you can all play these great next generation titles on a console that's here and now, the Xbox360!

This raises the cost of Living
I think the powerpack (brick) that I originally hated, is now a good idea, with the PS3's powerpack inside it just means more internal heat. It also means you can't just replace the powerpack you have to send the whole games machine back.
