Was suppose to end the console war when it came out. Witch, I think, is the Playstation biggest franchise. So I doubt that the games listed here will have that big of an effect. They are sequels to average games except maybe socom, that franchise was good up to socom 2 they should've left vehicle and 32 players to other franchise. it was hard enough to communicate with 7 other people imagine 15!!!
Maybe they'll stop making games for the PS3. If they spend more on developing the game that they make selling them, that's what's going to happen. And Sony can't rely on 1st party games alone. Get all upset when ther s an article that talks against blu-ray discs. I personnaly work in an elctronic store for 10 years where we sell hd lcd and plama screens and blu-ray dvd player. and a majority of customers aren' t even interesred to buy a blu-ray dvd player in a near future we sell a lot more hd cable boxes (witch gives you 720p) than blu-ray dvd players. so most people don't even want 1080p screens instead they go for 720p models witch are cheaper.once again i don t understand what ...
It's ID that should adjust to the limitations of a console not remove content to make it run on all consoles. Last year EA didn't lower the framerate on madden 08 or nhl 08 on the 360 because they couldn't get it up to 60 fps on the PS3. Or Final Fantasy XIII will probably not be the same on the 360 compare to the PS3.
Yeah! when you can ram other cars to pass them in a tight turn, now that's a sim and saying that car companies don't wan't there cars to be seen damaged: another excuse. At least in forza or grid (even if it's more arcady) you can wreck your car. I've played GT from 1 to 4 and I'm sorry but it's not a sim.

Does that make the ps3 on life support?? Beating the 360 by only 4,000 unnits (In SONY country). The WII outsold the ps3 by 40,000 + units!!!
If the PS3 is all that ( best hardware, softrware, etc ) why is it that it has the lowest attach rate of it's generation (360=7.5, wii=5.4, ps3=4.7)? Even if the xbox 360 can be hacked to play pirated copies, witch don't count for the sales of games. the ps3 has only 8 games that sold over 1 milion copies, against 28 for the xbox 360, witch is more than 3 times more. i really don't see how the ps3 is all that great, even ps3 owners don t know it because there not buying the games.
And don t give that 10 year marathon thing. In 10 years the ps3 graphics will look like the ps2 do today. And i think that the only reason the ps3 isn t doing so good is: now it has competition from microsoft and nintendo. when the ps2 launched (nov. 2000) it had 1 1/2 head start over Gamecube (may 2002) and xbox (march 2002). would've been game of the year then x-play would be the best show on tv. but it's actual gamers that voted for these. c'mon stop thinking that microsoft is buying everybody and as far as i m concerned i bought xbox 360 games and i still aven't receive a check from microsoft. i think people buy xbox 360 more than ps3 because they simply like it more. i don t see any other explanation.
the N64 is the only console i still play today (goldeneye, mario kart, banjo mario 64, zelda ocarina of time, ect...) those where, in fact, the good days of gaming. when games were more about gaming than graphics. Nowaday people argue about witch game looks better than the other one and on witch console, but never talk about gameplay. it's like fast food gaming, once you finish a game, it's on to the next one. games have very short lifespan.

For a game that was suppose to make people who didn t make the move to next-gen consoles buy a PS3, it failed again. As did ... let s see... first there was Lair then Heavenly Sword, Ratchet, Uncharted, Gt 5 prologue, even GTA 4 was suppose to be better on PS3, but sold about a million less copies THAN the 360, and now MGS 4. When will THIS game come out.

before claiming that a game, that is not out yet and that you've only seen screenshots or demo footage, is going to be a great game. like lair, heavenly sword or haze... you get the picture. at least Halo has already 3 blockbuster hits under its belt selling 15 million units of the trilogy. i don t we can say the same about killzone or resistance.

Everybody's saying wait for LBP as they were saying wait for MGS4 (probably SONY's biggest franchise). And if that doesn't move consoles, then they'll say wait for R2 and then KZ2. When will this waiting thing's going end?
