I really though GT5 would look better than this. So far Forza 3 looks better overall. And I would be very surprised if GT5 looks a lot better than this. It's been 6 years in development they can't change it that much in 3 months before the release in march. And I don't think Sony would put out a demo that makes the games look bad 3 months before release. For all the people that said Forza 3 looked like Mario Kart. I wander what GT5 looks like...
A Halo article that has 290 comments (most of them from PS3 fanboys...) and a GT5 article that has 74.... Wonder who's making damage control???
Just though I'd point that out.
Back in the 80's it was Heavy Metal music that corrupted young minds, and now it's video games. It's funny how it's never unemployment, lacking social services, real life war or anything political. They have to put the blame on something else than what they've aloud society to evolve into what it is today.
Anyways I said it before. Parents should sometimes do a better job at parenting and read and most importantly, respect the ESRB ratings. It's there for a reason.
Who cares who made it. Only fanboys are willing to miss out on a good game in order to stand beside their beloved console. If it's a good game I want to play it.
you're right about a true sequel to socom. the feel was there but not enough maps and to many bugs also plagued the gameplay. about mag I'm not sure about this game. the concept is interesting but I think it s wishfull thinking to think it s going to be all that great. it s hard enough to get 8 or 16 people to work together in socom, I really can t see how it can work with 128 on each side. I think it s going to end in a frag fest where it's every man for himself. and how the hell are you goi...
Banned users will buy a PS3 necesarly. I believe that most gamers only play a handful of games online. So they will probably buy the arcade version and leave it unmodded and keep the old one for backup copies. Because you can still play the single player part of a game even if you've been banned. Maybe a few people will switch to PS3 but not enought to make a difference. And before accusing people of piracy I would like to know how many people here still buy their cd instead of downloading t...
I play with the GT wheel and I wouldn't want to drive a bike with that. Gotham Gacing 4 had that and I never took one unless I had to. And Gran Turismo is a car simulator, so it should stick with cars.
You're probably right, if you find all the treasures it makes the game longer. But I more talking about the actual gameplay not searching for treasures. And as for the online aspect, I'm not a big online player. Online sessions are to often plagued with a$$holes, either on PSN or Xbox live. The game I played most online is SOCOM and NHL 09 when they came out.
I just finished MW2 it took me 6h38. It's a bit short, but it's action packed so it balances out in my opinion. I feel it...
It's about 12 hours long. I'm pretty sure that when you go through it a 2nd time you can finish it in under or about 10 hours. And despite the fact that it's an excellent game, once I made it through the game I didn't feel to replay it again. So for me there wasn't a good replay value. Maybe because I don't play online. So, I bought it for 50$ (used) and I sold it for 40$ while it still had a good value. So basically the game cost me 10$. Which is pretty good!
You get the option to NOT play any offensive content. So, if you don't want to see it you choose not to, and that's it.
And it's rated M for a reason. Parents should check the ESRB ratings instead of letting their kids play anything and then after, come crying, that videogames are too violent. The warnings are there, if most people don't pay attention to them it's not the gaming industry's fault.
And let's keep in mind that it's just a videogame. How many movies are...
Well said. Same here, in fact I have all 3 consoles. The WII is mostly for my son. But I started playing the Metroid Trilogy and it's excellent. Just finished Uncharted 2, awesome game. Playing Forza 3 excellent also. I don't really care which console a game comes out on, as long as it's a good game. Multiplats, I like the 360's controller better so my multiplats are on the 360. I wouldn't miss out on a good game just because I want to defend or bash a console for a company that just wants my...
Don't you have awesome PS3 games to play? Guess not....
So, all you people claiming that they don't care about any expansions or DLC must not be the majority out of the 3 millions something that bought the game on the PS3. Even after all those exclusives that came out for PS3 it still remains in the top 4 top selling games on the console. I'm sure that a lot of people would like to play those expansions. Maybe not fanboys that, recently, can't seem to appreciate anything that is multiplatform. By the way, I hope you realize that you don't represen...
Just show the maturity of the people on this site.
The main reason that GT series sold that much is because it was on the PS2 and had an installed base of over 100 millions. Look at the sales of GT5 prologue (around 4 millions) it's good but nowhere near what it did on the PS2. I don't think the sales will be the same with a 25 millions installed base. It still going to be an awsome game
But comparing sales of the GT series and Forza just isn't fair. Rating you can compare but not sold units when there's that much of difference o...
It's only extra content like cars and tracks. You only insert it once at the beginning and there's a 1.9 Go install and that's it. You don't need it after that. So there's no disc swapping like everybody is trying to make believe. And I would be very surprised that GT5 takes 3 discs to run. It's probably just extra content like "making of" or something like that.
I've been playing for the last week, don't ask me why, and it's really good. Beautiful graphics, smooth framerate, great control with the 360 wheel. You won't be disappointed.
He's just saying that the GT serie is great and that they only have a different approach to a racing game. What's wrong with that.
If the PS3 Is all that and it does everything. Then can someone explain why it's still in 3rd place. And don't give me the price as an excuse, because you all seem to have full hd lcd or plasma screens in you living rooms so you can see the superiority of the graphics compare to the 360.
And why the games don't sell? From launch to this day only 11 games managed to sell more than 1 millon copies. While the 360 has 38.
Can someone bring constructive arguments to this...
I strongly doubt that a tuned race car handles like that. But I believe the main problem is the sense of speed. You feel like going 50-60km/h when actually you're going over 100km/h. You shouldn't have to look at the speedometer to know how fast you're going you should feel it. And to me, that greatest problem of the GT serie. And if that's the new physics engine I'm a bit disappointed. As stated in another comment, it feels like ridge racer on ice. And please don't give me that "racing ...
