I mean, Legend of the Mystical Ninja was one of the best SNES games ever... but the likelihood of that game being made in today's market is very low. Game devs used to have more freedom to take risks, and here's hoping that we'll get to a point where they can do that again.

I got my PS4 for Transistor and haven't yet regretted the purchase, having now played many other great indies on it while I wait for the awesome big-budget exclusives coming in 2015.
I got my X1 for Dead Rising, Ryse and Forza, and likewise am continually impressed with how robust a Year One game library MS has secured for the console.

lol at the Sony apologists scared to admit that the X1's CPU and RAM are better at doing things like putting lots of AI on the screen at any given moment.
That being said, I requested my free copy of ACU to be for the PS4, so I'm screwed like the rest of you sad sacks.
No worries in the long run, though. If history is any indication, Ubi will patch the game a few times to a point of stability, like they did with AC4.
@Ck1x: Destiny lost me at the beta. Driveclub lost me at the fact that Forza Horizon 2 is awesome and I only have time in my life for a few games.
@jholden: And considering that everything we're talking about is subjective, yes, every game you listed (excluding Bayonetta 2, which still isn't worth $300 to me) isn't up my alley. So, the WiiU is worthless to me without the games that I specifically want to see on it.

Comparing a HD remaster of Halo CE and those other two games is apples and oranges, tech-wise. MCC is a technical achievement that far outshines the remasters of GTA V and TLoU.
