Anyone who's upset at the 6v6 news either wasn't paying attention this past summer, or is willfully ignorant.
It does nothing of the sort.
The use of A.I. in Titanfall isn't there to replace human players.
It's a resource to be hacked and stolen, it's an opportunity to farm experience and accelerate the spawning of your titan, and it's there to offer players a sense of scale without removing a sense of traversal speed or superheroism.
No one led you to believe otherwise.

Any misunderstanding is on you and not Respawn.
Anyone who had been paying attention to the game already knew at the point the videos were released that the game was 7v7. Seeing dozens of characters on screen should've clued you in that they were using A.I. to make the game world richer and faster-paced.
Having tested the game, I can say that it earns all of its accolades. And I played a super early alpha build, before the one they brought to the world tour.
Titanfall was sick then, and I imagine it's even better now.
Like your opinion is limiting the potential enjoyment you get from gaming.
The bots are cannon fodder that amplify the pace of the game.
When you play it, you'll understand.
Six human players per side, plus up to six A.I. titans per side, plus a dozen A.I. squadmates per side.
And the A.I. is good.
Titanfall is an amazingly fun game.
Its accolades are well-earned, and earned through an alpha build, at that.

I'm not planning to play Titanfall on my Macbook Air.
Most people I know have already gotten or will get the X1 just to play Titanfall, since video games deliver a better experience on consoles.
The good thing is that between Titanfall, Destiny and The Division, consoles will have plenty of what will most likely be far, far better FPS games with which to draw gamers away from the COD bullcrap.
This was already announced. The Titanfall franchise will be a MS exclusive.
You get to use a titan every two minutes of game time. That time is shortened by playing well and achieving objectives.
Okay... so Gaikai might be up and running in 2014.
Now all Sony has to do is match MS in server volume and cloud computing ability and it'll be an even playing field.

At launch, the question a gamer should ask before committing to a console preorder is, "Would I buy any of these games at full retail price if they had been released later in the console's life cycle?"

How does this differ from The Order's physics engine? I read that they detailed the game's materials to behave realistically.
