They should create a facility outside Japan, as it will be completely under water soon.
That is interesting. More competition is better. However, I would prefer gaming companies still have a say in hardware decisions. I would point to Sony's SNES, and Micro's DC copied controllers as evidence of their unwillingness to innovate. I don't like the idea of "Entertainment companies" dominating the console arena. I think it's unfair that these companies can lose billions on new consoles and underprice their hardware then wait 5 years to try to monopolize the ...
I don't know. Vita is doing worse wouldn't you say?
It'll still be the best version, HANDS DOWN!!
Idk, it's lame whatever it is.
It wasn't "just a remake". It was the creators true vision for the game. And it's the best of the series. The article was a joke, for those with no sense of humor.
RE1 remake doesn't get any better. Capcom could just put different characters, in different mansions, different puzzles and boss battles... I'd probably be happier with that.
Ok, vertical and horizontal position is the only way Nintendo is making a distinction between the two.... got it.
If only there was good news for everyone in the industry. Damn you iPhone!!
They need to show us how serious tbey are about online support, and re-engage third party support. They have a real chance to come back strong, we'll see what happens in two years. Then we'll know
This is crucial. I bet half the comments I make on this site is on Nintendo's need to relinquish themselves from the curse of dismal third party support. This alone will determine Wii U's longevity. Not competing with third party support was a good sign.
Those are my thoughts. It will do well for 2 years or so, and then the new consoles break in. Third party support will be the make or break the longevity of Wii U. So far, it's been Nintendo's curse.
Because they're that HOT!!
Ok, you know how much the Gamecube flopped. So there was no reason to think Nintendo could anticipate Wii's popularity. If they manipulate production, they lose money. Analysts have said this consistently, you're no analyst, you're a whining conspirator.
Say what you want about Nintendo.
They make great games and great consoles that last.
AC3 will be better on Wii U, so will COD. Get over it.
Actually, Wii was three days earier than Ps3. Though, I do think Sony is going to have a problem if they're going to go "graghics powerhouse" route. The mainstream will not buy a 500 dollar console in this market. They lost my money when they decided my broken Ps3 wasnt a high priority for them, that and the network meltdown. Sony isn't going anywhere, nor would I want them to. Less competition is bad for everyone.
Well, that's good news for Nintendo. Hitman sold like garbage on GC or Wii. It'll be interesting to see what MS/Sony come up with in a sluggish market like this. From what I've heard MS is doing some revolutionizing things with its Kinect. But it won't mean diddly if they can't round up the software to back it up. I'm not a graphics fiend, otherwise I would PC. I really doubt next gen consoles will be capable of selling at a loss, but we are talking about multi-billi...
I always giggle when I hear about Dvd/Blue-Ray playback being touted as arguments for not owning a Nintendo. More often, this added feature seems to be related to the death of the console. What does it say when you have your console be a technological swiss army knife besides, "we don't make software." MS/Sony are making a big gamble coming out with $500 consoles next year in this kind of market. There won't be any consoles selling at a loss next gen. Keep your consoles ...
Don't knock it till you've tried it.
It's dumb 'not' to do what Nintendo is doing.
