yeah, they had a,b,x,y buttons first right? And the original xbox controller looked nothing like the Dreamcast. Im pretty sure 360 still uses the Gamecube controller style anyhow, so... Nice try
straight up gangster.
I prefer Nintendo, though I wish Sega still made hardware.
Publishing is not the same as creating. Nintendo is publishing the new Ninja Gaiden and Bayonetta but they had next to nothing to do with them. The same goes with Metroid. I mentioned Killzone and LBP, so if you would like to present your case on why I'm wrong, I'm more than willing to hear you out.
Online co-op would be a huge deal. I can see the cruelty now. Big Mario fanatics that will run through the stage like they shouldn't even bother with co-op, if only to show others what they aren't. I personally would love to see someone try to pick me up and throw me off the ledge, this would literally never get tiring. Now all they need is an online co-op for Mario Galaxy 3 and SSB Rumble subspace emissary. What else could you want?
Online services and functionality, as well as third party support will determine WiiU's success. So far it's too early to tell.
Wasn't it more a big deal that nobody really cared about Sixaxis?
I thought it could've went somewhere, Flower was a very suprising game for me. I'd rather have more battery life, though I do enjoy sound effects derived from the controller as well.
Yeah, that's quite astute, since I called it fanboyism. But I'm still confused as to how my opinion on their gaming talent labels me one. I just assume at this point that my disregard for their competitors in any way is considered as such, whether or not I'm playing Mass Effect 3 on my XBox right now.
Like I said, don't take it seriously, it's supposed to be fun. There's room for everyone in the industry.
I could care less about rumble, they invented it, and it's not that cool anymore. Give me less pro-controller please, this has been outdated design since the Gamecube.
I already own them.
It's Nintendo, why is that such a suprise? SonySoft are hardware makers and still are getting used to having a clue about games. Don't get me wrong, I play all of it, but to even pretend that Sony or Microsoft know how to create games is disengenuous. Nintendo have been doing this for 30 years, and it's a good thing their competitors are keeping them on their toes. It's a great time to be a gamer! There's room for all three, no need to take fanboyism personally, it's ...
I read this 2 weeks ago, it isn't news that the microphone has to be inserted orally because he sounds too muffled with his head up his rear-end. Can someone explain to me how "Nintendo just doesn't get it"? But "WiiU will be successful?" Yes, I predicted Packed-Dérriere wouldn't like WiiU. I also predict that he'll like it more than Wii, and Nintendo will still be a major player long after he's left this world. He's right just as much as he is...
That's interesting. I have to say there are some immensely unforgettable moments from Nintendo these last few years. My personal favorites are RE4, Metroid Prime 3 and Boom Blox. I really can't imagine not having played these Wii games. Though I'm also a big fan of Bethesda, the Dead Space series, and COD, I just feel empty without Nintendo. It's not for everybody, but they really don't cause much disappointment for me. Every reiteration is still fun to go back to. Unlike ...
Well then, I suspect anti-Nintendo gamers to at least "claim" that they tried it and didn't like it. At least they won't have to sell the console at a loss. Who knows, maybe it'll make a big splash.
Actually you're right, Americans want a 'severely underpriced' console that can float on the profits of TV and PC sales. And why not use some outdated controllers from hardware companies that are unwilling to take innovation or software seriously? SonySoft are only trying to monopolize the industry, and can't seem to 'bribe' enough of us by selling their consoles at a loss. I suppose Nintendo should be more like them right? That's ok, don't by a Wii U, nobody c...
The question is, why waste time doing full HD, on a 2D game that relies on gameplay to sell? I think we're continually missing the point here, not surprisingly.
If you can use the gamepad without the TV, that means you have another window to see what the TV can not. Imagine running straight, and looking side to side by simply moving your hands side to side while still looking straight on the screen. It's light enough to multi-task, changing weapons, and is much faster to drop mortars by tapping on a screen than it is to move an anologue stick across the TV. Maybe it's just that you gamepad naysayers lack imagination, that is until your big ...
Son, you think I'm joking? They won't even see it coming. They'll need more than "underground facilities". The whole continent is gone.
I want Kid Icarus and Star Fox. I'd like to see another Kirby. I'm really waiting for a new Metroid. The new controller scheme is perfect.
Bubble up vote for you my friend. The truth is, that they all learn from each other, we don't want them to be the same. There's room for all three in this industry, and I think as consumers, we should fight to keep the choices we have. I prefer Nintendo, but I'm a video game fan first. I have my own personal reasons for me to dislike Sony, but it still makes more sense for me to root for them when they're not doing well. I want them to win me back as a consumer, not go away.
