Gaming has become more political.
You hear only 6 vs 6 and think that it's underpowered because BF4 is what? 32?
Yeah, but we keep getting better looking games and little differences in experience.
What can Ps4 do that Ps3 can't besides social networking and a little more PC function?
Everybody bitches about Nintendo not coming out with anything "new" and are too repetitive while all the "gamers" gobble up GTA, COD, and Assassin's Creed.
I think politics is ruining the gaming industry.
I'll just say what I said earlier.
Nintendo left their first year wide open for developers to make money off of, and early WiiU adopters got a lackluster zombie game, 2012 ports, and the COD fanbase ignoring the best versions of the game. And it doesn't help that Nintendo had to put Wii in the name, to further cement the impression of childishness.
Just more politics.
In a way it's better that Nintendo isn't dominating the ...
They're combining the handheld and home console systems.
Most likely what the Vita should be able to do right now with the Ps4, but it does not.
Maybe we can expect a Vita released with two more triggers. I'd pay good money for that.
Everyone has agreed that WiiU has much simpler architecture in the hardware in comparison to their competitors, therefore rendering it easier to develop for.
It's not really hard to understand.
Yeah well I shouldn't need my Ps3 anymore, but I do.
It makes no sense to need your Ps3 to play downloadable games already on Playstation network.
I have a Ps4, and I'm playing 3ds.
Again, it's all going to be about games.
Sony's all in!!
And look out for the XBone price drop!!
And to think about all of the fuss about Nintendo crawling to android and Apple?
I scoff at such laughable ignorance.
The irony is that Nintendo left their first year wide open to third party developers to make money and we got a luckluster zombie game, 2012 ports, and COD fans that don't even want to own the ...
Yeah, especially because Skyrim, one of the most impressive and revolutionary games developed is horribly broken on Ps3...
...which is gaming blasphemy.
Let me reiterate how truly horrifying of a FACT it is that Bethesda didn't delay the broken version of Skyrim.
Who needs a paragraph for some pointless opinion?
WiiU should be easier as it's not as powerful.
Third party devs don't want the daunting task of competing against Nintendo or they just don't know how to market their games to their audience. Ubisoft, Capcom, Sega do I suppose.
But it seems like you see articles like this and remember that Sony and MS basically threw billions of dollars at gamers last generation to build a fanbase ...
yup... I just shit my pants.
Probably not real though.
Maybe the ONLY reason for me to move from Netflix to this.
But it sounds a little too good to be true.
So many people just use mods these days.
I don't know about all of that.
It's fun to fight over which console is best. If it weren't for fanboys, consoles wouldn't do so well. Some of us are too poor to be able to afford more than one console, so we pick our own corner. So what?
THIS IS WAR!!
And we all benefit from it.
Although there's no such thing as an "oversaturation of survival horror"... it seems inevitable that not all of them will do well.
I'd almost rather see some of these come next year as to preserve the genre's current momentum.
So... Hotline Miami?... South Park?... Aliens?...
over Monolithsoft's X? or Smash Bros?... boo...
Titanfall looks like what KillZone should've been.
Castlevania 64 was no good... neither was the last instalment...
give me SotN 2 please.
Hook, line and sinker....
Watch the fanboys flail...
They'll reach 12 million by the end of this year easy.
Idk...
you did a good job measuring the level of your lack of enthusiasm...
looks like you give a lot of "F"s... lol
I want to play Bayo2, X, and Smash, although Watchdogs should be more fun on Nintendo...
Sure it won't look better, or sell better, but really though...
Shouldn't I get Watchdogs on WiiU if I don't care about graphics or dlc?
Back it up if you disagree.
I agree, and I don't think best selling games like COD helps anything.
Us gamers might be headed for a huge disappointment in the years ahead, to make up for the golden years of the 8th gen consoles.
Nintendo will stick around, but I'm not that encouraged with what happens if MS bows out. I'd much prefer the XBox hang in there.
I might trade in KillZone for this.
