Can I get a bubble up
Stupid, gross, sick, disgusting, wicked, they all work.
A dog and pony show of video games doesn't constitute progress.
And I don't really think console gaming has progressed in the last 4 years, judging on what's selling.
Let's talk about how much "progress" Call of Duty has made.

Seriously?!
My icon is "Captain N the GameMaster"...
I thought the statement: "over-hype of a controlled audience" was a dead giveaway to sarcasm. I'm glad somebody caught it.
... good god, come on people
I love the comments here. Why can't it just be a "3ds advance" or "Advance Fusion"?
I think if it were "Advance Wars" that would be clear, and not just "Advance." But the "quality of life" theory sounds possible.
I'm right there with you bro. I can't stand the CoD crowd. It's nothing new, and they don't even bother with it on Nintendo. 2-player online is actually pretty good with the gamepad, but it's all about graphics and frames that aren't noticeable, and staying away from the "Wii" brand.
I see your bubble in a bit of a different light. I pity the CoD gamers. They are mindless parasites to the future of gaming. It's never anything new anymore.
COD on Nintendo is a superior experience, unless you're on PC.
To hell with how pretty it looks, why do you think console developers are becoming extinct?
COD "EVERY YEAR"? It's nothing new.
Really though, two players with the gamepad is undeniably superior, in spite of the mindless CoD fanboy fever. Halo and TF are better than CoD all day anyway.
The only "rumor" is that the definitive console version is completely ignored by the "Call of Duty" loyalists, (and I use that term loosely) completely neglect the superior WiiU version.
Perhaps it's the name.
Well, that's definitely a plus. I can't wait to hear all of the whining and crying. I'M IN!!
I'm starting to get pretty geeked.
We don't hate Nintendo's e3 strategy. We just hate Nintendo.
They certainly could use the over-hype of a controlled audience.
I'm not sure. I always thought it was the one that sold the most consoles. But profitability should be a factor. I mean, even if you sell 100 million consoles, it's not a "win" if you didn't make any money.
It depends on the perspective of the company or the gamer.
You're not desperate to buy a WiiU if you need more reasons to own one.
It's by far the best system I've ever played. Sales or no sales, it's incredible. Games are really cheap too. And there's so many great Wii games that most "hardcore" gamers missed, it's disturbing. You're really missing out if you think Ps4 or Xbox have anything close to the amount of content WiiU has. It truly is laughable.

I thought the Smash direct was better than any e3 presentation they've ever had. I don't care about a live press release. I'd rather them keep doing what they're doing because e3 just seems like over-hyped showmanship. Maybe it just seems too commercial for me anymore.
It's the software content that matters. I see what the "hardcore" are playing, and most of it is old news made prettier. I'm not impressed.
Nintendo was at e...
The absence of a Nintendo press conference which is really just over-hyped showmanship, doesn't mean they weren't there. I'm not sure Nintendo needs lectured on their business practices. Sony and Microsoft have their own problems that no E3 will ever solve.
Nintendo is due to reveal a new hand-held console, which has been pretty good cake so far. So your condescension seems to bleed irony.
Yeah, not even the NES can handle NES games...
I'm guessing we'll see a lot of games we already know about.
It's what has yet to be revealed that makes me excited....
Besides the usual CoD and AC... and you "know" they're going to be there.
I'm pretty sure E3 isn't going to get the masses to buy more WiiU's.
MarioKart will do better than any press conference. If there isn't momentum leading into the holidays after E3, then I'll be worried.
WiiU sales 'will' go up, just how much is the question. I think Nintendo will close the sales gap by the end of the year.
Except WiiU has Wii's entire catalog. So it's not that dumb.
And Nintendo is gravitating more towards Indie games, which is quickly becoming the future of gaming. And WiiU supports Indie games better than any other, least from my point of view.
It was never about the graphics. This Nintendo fan also doesn't care. It's cool I guess, but even if it wasn't, I doubt playing the game would be much different in any way substantial.
