Nice! This is the way to go!
Lets software companies have even more flexibility in what they want to develop for the PS3.
Hold on hold on.. the important question here is:
Is this a new game or just more DLC?
If it's coming out this fall, then it could be either... HMMMMM
I have the 260 version and it has disappointed me more than I could have ever imagined.
It's barely a complete game, and then just to be able to play it, it needs a large install, and even then it runs very poorly (~10 - 15 fps)
This game, along with Infinite Undiscovery have left me in complete digust at Square-Enix's development/publishing.
OH MY GOD!!!
-head explodes-
Here we go again folks. Back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth an...
It has a SALES throne, not a gaming throne. Learn the difference and you will understand why the Wii really doesn't even matter in terms of gaming anymore.
It's more like an iPod or a GPS. A Wii is a Wii, it's not a gaming device.
Hate all you want, I could give a crap less who gives me a thumb down or thumb up. Things just need to be said, too many naive people out there who still classify the Wii as a game console.
Sounds like a piece of junk if you ask me. I read the entire article and the types of games that are going to be available on that thing (1 to 50MB) are going to be extremely ancient and at that point, why pay $200 for a system that is going to play older games from other consoles?
LOL, what a joke!
This game is either an action/adventure game or another shooter. Either way, I hope it brings something new to the table and doesn't end up being another generic game.
This is some seriously exhilarating stuff!
Looks phenomenal.
Want more 3rd party support? Want more developers to become exclusive? Want less glitches and bugs in games? This is the way to go.
Good job SONY. :)
I'm excited as hell for this sequel. The first game was an absolute blast to play. I loved everything about it. From the music to the voice acting to the graphics to the rpg elements to the shooting elements, to the exploration and the decision-making. Everything was top notch.
The second will and MUST follow that trend, but give us a few extras. :-)
Just picked up:
The Club (360)
Lost Planet (PS3)
Ferrari Challenge (PS3)
All for $44 shipped!!
Definitely day 1 purchase for me.
Every time I hear news or see pictures of this game my blood starts pumping.
Chaotic:
"Nintendo does serve all types of gamers." Really? In what sick, demented, up-side down world are you living in? Name 5 games that nintendo has to offer someone who is 24? Let me think.. hmm..... hmm... wait.. NOTHING.
"Nintendo was always for everyone." The keyword here is WAS, not IS. There were plenty of NES/SNES titles that were oriented more towards skilled gamers and older adult gamers. The Wii fails on that front, and you know that. ...
The Wii can ship 20 billion systems tomorrow, but it will never be as good as either the NES or the SNES, heck, it isn't even be 10% as good.
The NES and SNES were gaming systems, the Wii is a gimmick that sells like peanuts thanks to an excellent Marketing dept. That's that folks.
I know Sony will initially lose some money from reducing the price yet again, but software sales will increase as a result and overall this will help them retain stronger sales figures.
Heheh
This game is going to rock!!
Seriously, this game looks like a lot of fun.
The first one was solid, good old fashioned fun. Sure it wasn't the best game, but it never tried to give you the impression that it was out to beat any records. Instead, it simply was fun to play.
Sure, i'm up for a sequel. I may not sink $60 into it this time, I'll probably wait for the price to drop, but gamers all too often forget the value in supporting decent to good games such as this.
Instead we have a revolution towards buying only the multi-million dollar...
Yes, the game was great.
Woopty Doo, does it need to be re-released on every single nintendo console?
All the Wii is doing is re-releasing old n64 and gamecube hits.
"omg, omg, omg, no way, it's gonna be totally awesome! yay!!!!"
::rolls eyes::
seriously?
