Great article, few key things I believe:
1 - Natal, as great as it may seem, we aren't sure how well it will function or how much support it will have, in addition rumors are spreading that it will retail for $199, are you willing to pay that much?
2 - Sony had better and a wider range of games presented at E3. Not only for the PS3 but PSP as well, and although MS only has 1 console to worry about, I think it's fair to say that Sony is splitting their attention prett...
I would agree with the article that Microsoft brought their best to the show... HOWEVER, at the end of the day, gaming is about games, and Microsoft didn't bring their games this year. Sorry, Sony wins, as much as I'd like to say MS took it.

In my opinion, Natal and the PS3 motion controller both seem to have better accuracy and functionality than the Wii-mote, but without proper software usage all we can do is make guesses as to how successful each will be in the future.
I think both games look amazing. I also think that each game is going to have it's share of ups and downs. Although I am a huge GT fan from the original to the most recent Prologue, I must also admit that Forza 2 took away months of my life and I enjoyed every minute. I think I will end up purchasing both, but something deep inside me is telling me that Forza 3 will have a more robust online community, and be more fun to play overall.

For someone who owns the ps3, 360 and a gaming pc, I have to say that I'm very impressed with Crysis 2 and I think it's going to be great. It's a really commendable thing that the developers have done, to create an engine so robust and intricate that it lets them create a powerful fps game for multiple consoles with little to no problems.
Big thumbs up for both Crytek and EA. Keep up the good work.
I've really strayed away from Nintendo for a long time now (was a huge N64 fan) but recently they simply haven't given the core gamers what they want.
They showed a few things today that interested me:
* New Zelda for the DS (I have the previous one and it was great)
* Metroid Other M (Looked great, I'm glad it's something fresh and not another Metroid game made off of the Prime engine)
That's about it, everything else disinterested me.
From the looks of it, Final Fantasy XIV will be an upgraded version of Final Fantasy XI. Although that may be good news for some, it's also some possibly bad news, because like Final Fantasy XIV, we will most likely have to pay to play Final Fantasy XIV, and I for one am not willing to do that.

In my opinion, Project Natal was quite easily the most exciting product shown at E3. And Sony's motion controller was also impressive on many levels.
I'm able to say this honestly and happily: Both the XBox 360 and the PS3 seem to have a nice and healthy future ahead of them. Competition is great, as we have all seen these past two days. It brings out the best in exclusives, technology and software.

1 - We can't say for sure what resolution it's going to run at, the game isn't complete and demos, as we all know tend not to be completely representative of the final product.

IGN doesn't have their review up yet, but this small unknown website does, and the other suspicious thing is that the reviewer gives very few details and tends to generalize way too much. He might just be going based off of information he read or what he played in the demo.
I would be very very very cautious in believing much that comes out of this website.
That's good news all around. I can't even begin to count the number of hours I poured into Forza 2. I loved that game, it was a good balance between simulation, fun, great music, and modification.

I'm not going to make a decision based off of a review by someone who obviously is not motivated in any way to play or review this game. I read the entire review and the vibe I received from his writing was one of exhaustion and of frustration with sand-box games.

I have played the demo a lot and yes, it's easy, but man does the game rock.

This is Sony just being Sony. They'll probably unveil new gameplay details for infamous and uncharted on the 27th, that's my bet.
Don't expect anything major.
First they insulted the PS3 and said Sony should "trash it and start over again".
I went ahead and bought The Orange Box on PS3 anyway, to show my support for the game, even though it had major glitches and no support. I give props to EA for making it happen on the PS3 at all, bc Valve didn't want it to be released for the PS3 EVER.
Then they release Left 4 Dead for the Xbox360 and not the PS3.
Whatever, that's fine by me, after all I have both...
