You speak of add on like Sony has never done it. I remember buying an Xbox with a built in hard drive while the PS2 were forced to buy memory cards for $70 ( here in oz ). And saying PS2 games looking better than Xbox that's just crazy. And using black as an example. I had proven time and time again to my friends with ps2's that the Xbox had way better graphics. Ami the only one that wasn't really bothered by the battery pack on the 360 controller. Honestly don't really see the fuss about it. I don't even notice it while I'm holding it. Guess some people grip the controller a little differently to me

Like criminals. I remember heaps if people getting robbed after the ps3 launch. But at $599 US and $1000 here in Australia I wasn't surprised.
I don't think they would but if they were to drop the price after Christmas the early adopters would more than likely get $100 cash back or free Live for a yr or something. It happened here in Australia when the Original Xbox came out. I paid $650 for it and not long after they dropped the price by $250. Everyone that paid full price got $250 worth of Xbox stuff back.
Don't see how people think Sony killed E3. There press conference was a snooze fest until for the whole minute it took them to announce the DRM issues and price. Beside that it was lame. I was on here reading the comments from people while it played live and everyone was saying the same thing.
For the price those babies will be going for on eBay I could imagine you could buy the whole launch line up for the Xbox One and still have change left over

I some what agree with you. Yes Sony and Nintendo have more local developers. But Microsoft has tried to tap into that market. Early on this Gen Microsoft went out of there way to entice Japanese developers and get games on the system. But Japanese gmers avoid the 360 like the plague regardless of how many local developers are on it. Microsoft has realised this and dont support that market as much anymore.

That is spot on. I wanted a blu ray player but opted for the PS3 as it did more than just play movies for the same or less price. I do have a few games on it but it rarely gets used for anything other than playing movies. I know a lot of people who did the same. I also recommended people to buy a PS3 instead of a standalone player
OMG when will this end. We have only had what about 3 or 4 threads regarding the DS4 vs X1 controller. Enough already. Some like one some like the other....
