@below.xb1 version hasn't been reviewed yet and it's not the console that's claiming to be 50% more powerful. Big difference there. I think we can put that rumor to rest now. If a console claims to be that much more powerful and easier to develop for it should have those issues.
basically sony is hiding something by not letting some journalist do their jobs. Only one week til launch and they are still keeping those retail units close.
Then what is to blame for sony's games being only 30 FPS or the crappy framerate of COD. I guess it's ok to be 1080p with a crappy framerate now....lol When are people gonna learn that 720 with a steady 60FPS frame rate beats 1080p with a unsteady framerate any day. People bragged about COD being a higher res but when we find out they sacrificed FR they are all quiet...lol Sony made a bad decision. They should of put FR before resolution.
It's the xbox-one that is more powerful. If it was the ps4 he would of said it because that's certain devs have already stated it before, so why would he be so reluctant. Watch and see. The xbox-one is more powerful and MS has a NDA in place for devs not to say anything. Even Dice has stated that xb1 hardware is still under NDA. They will be dropping the bomb really soon. You guys will see.
Resolution does matter, especially if it affects frame rate. take the ps4 version of cod for example.
ps3 isnt loading as much either. This is the result of it not always being connect now.

How would they know if a console overheats or not? They only use dev kits. If they were overheating they sure as hell arent gonna tell anyone.

yea, but Rare is still a great studio. You never know, we just might get a new Conker or something from them this gen. Sony has a studio that's pretty much the same. They went from doing core games to casual ones too, but no one like to acknowledge it because they have double standards. Just take a look:
