So was the ps3 but never showed it. Now we have the same thing going on. PS4 is supposedly more powerful but xb1 has the better looking games. Its so funny how people eat up those words from indies devs who haven't laid a hand on both consoles.

I knew this game wasn't gonna score high. When it was announced that it was 1080p everyone focused on that, forgetting that 1080p offers no advantages and increases the chance of a performance hit. Sony really needs to rethink their mandated policy for 1080p games on their console.
That because they developed the game with unfinished tools.
The frame rate is pretty unsteady. The grenade effects look pretty last gen too. Overall looks good though.
I told you guys xb1 version would turn out better. 1080p offers no benefits to gameplay. MS doesn't mandate that devs reach 1080p on their platform. A lot of you thought it was because it can't. The real reason is it will increase the probability of a substandard performance.
Ryse looks better than anything else out there right now from what we've seen. It's from crytek, so we know their games always are impressive graphically.

Ms actually helped sega with dreamcast by supplying the Widows CE/direct x. They were very close partners. That's how Peter Moore landed at MS. Sega didn't have the financial backing to saturate the market enough because of Sony money hating devs to develop for their platform resulting in discontinuation of dreamcast. So ms took that vision and applied it to their own console and now we have the magnificent Xbox live.
It's fine by me, especially if it doesn't offer any improvements over playing the game on xbox360. I'm fine using it to play the games with.
I'm ready. Bring it on MS. Show this industry what next gen is all about and why playing on xbox is better than the rest.
