"So basically when Game Pass is on everything we are all slaves to the Cloud and Microsoft control everyone's device?"

No. More options are better for the competition. Google has now lowered the Play Store fees for Android from 30% to 15% due to competitive pressure from alternative app stores such as the Epic Store, which is set to release this year for Android.

Imo, it's just cheaper getting a PC; at least you can change the GPU every console or Mid generation. You don't have to worry about purchasing Xbox Game Pass Core or PS Plus every year, which could go towards a new and improved CPU.

Disclaimer: It's always cheaper purchasing the entire Ubisoft Game Edition when they're on sale.

Ultrawide is already supported.

"Get a view of even more of the action with support for Ultrawide (21:9), Super Ultrawide (32:9) and even 48:9 Triple Monitor support."

PlayStation employed 8,000 people as of August 2023, which meant that 11.25% (900) of the employees had been laid off.

Every annual release of Call of Duty generates billions in revenue. Helldivers 2 will soon fade into obscurity like Titanfall 1 and 2 did.

From the recent leaks. Sony pays Marvel between 19% and 29% for every Spiderman game they sell. That is a large amount, so they raised their development cost to break even.

That’s risky. The stock may not increase, and the high price of £70 for games discourages many people from preordering them. This is not a viable model.

If I were Sony, I would maximize profits by releasing first party games in batches on PC. They are outdoing Xbox by a large margin.

Articles like these are clickbaits.

Epic has been offering free triple A games like Death Stranding, GTA V, Fallout, Ghostrunner, Control, Rage, etc. on their store; with no subscription fee. There are lots of companies that offer games via a subscription on PC.

Alan Wake Remastered was less than $10 on Xbox store a few weeks ago

There’s no reason to own a PlayStation if I could play all PlayStation games on PC. It’s a lot cheaper because there’s no yearly subscription fee.

@Eonjay

I'm having issues with the PC version, like receiving no rewards after completing missions, not receiving any XPs, sometimes quickplay doesn't work, Game crashes occasionally.

"their "excuse" that puttingnit on a disc would make the game a 70 dollar game."

Digital games should always be cheaper than physical discs, and when they are on sale, they are much cheaper by a significant amount.

"Not releasing on Steam especially for PC gamer"

Because Epic funded the game, it’s not rocket science. It’s like Valve not releasing its exclusive games on the Epic Store. Competition is great.
