It's too late. Microsoft already owns the Publisher, and game studios.
Call of Duty that releases in November.
"Sony shouldnt never took that 10 year deal"
You're underestimating the market. There are millions of gamers that just plays a few games per year, especially popular ones like Call of Duty and FIFA. They are also the ones that spent money on Microtransactions.
The name alone, Call of Duty sells like hotcakes. It doesn't even matter if the gameplay is trash, it still makes billions.
I'm pretty sure Xbox First Party IP; Call of Duty will generate billions this November, by having less than 88% Metacritic Rating. Ratings are just an Opinion.

Thats not how DRM works, it occasionally connects to the Internet after a certain period of time, if it didn't you could easily modify the Disk Drive.
I don't know why you're receiving downvotes for congratulating Stanfield's success.

Microsoft now has 35 Game Studios, while Sony has 14 Game Studios. This is huge.....
If Sony had the money to acquire Activision Blizzard they wouldn't be allowed to own them, because they basically have a Monopoly in the console market.
With Microsoft, they're in 3rd place which gives them more powers to be allowed to acquire publishers.
Microsoft still doesn't have a Monopoly in the gaming sector. Hopefully, they acquire Sega next...
@Profchaos
Activision didn't sell True Crime series to Square Enix; they licensed the IP to Square and they changed the name to Sleeping Dogs.
@Cacabunga
Xbox first Party IP releases in November. It's Call of Duty.
Bring back Skylanders, Guitar Hero and Blur
"they are giving this game away for free on gamepass."
Game Pass isn't Free. From Microsoft statistics, the majority of gamers pay full price per month for Game Pass. It's Free if you prefer using their rental services, with a selection of games on Game Pass.

Sony and Microsoft should force people to go digital by making sure all physical discs only includes a key, not a disc.
Impossible to prevent because it isn't a monopoly.
Meanwhile, Sony does this with their First Party IP games. Doesn't mean anything.
Don Mattrick replacing Jim Ryan?

"Coming from a company that has taken more from gamers than any other in history of the industry."
For Clarification, Call of Duty 2 didn't release on PlayStation Platform, it was exclusive to PC/Xbox.
I'm predicting Microsoft will acquire Sega or Telltale next...
