Developers are not in charge of anything they work for a publisher unless they are self publishing. Therefore they have to say and do what they are told because they are employees. That's the way it works in adult land.
Now they may not agree like a lot people with a company's policy but putting your neck out there and making noise could get them blackballed in the industry they are working in.

You don't know what people want you are just Assuming this. It takes awhile for people to switch over to a new console in fact it takes years for there to a good library on a new machine. They just have to bring compelling games to keep people buying.
That's what the want and then games will be shity and a 100 dollar's each.
They don't need a Kinect to do that. these companies know everything about you and your game console. They know how many times you hit the A button and what you watch what you play how you play.
They have this information and you are happy to give it to them. that's how they determine what to develop and sell to you.
Titanfall is a big game. all my friends that have a X1 are buying and we are all talking about it. The X1 is a shooters machine and what a lot of people want to play. That's why MS can rotate their shooters every year and get away with it.
Halo, gears of war, Titanfall, nfl are all on X1 and all my friends and family. I will say that giving away all of these free games will hurt Sony and gaming in the end and will create a generation of gamers who will not buy AAA games, but wait for them to be free.
This also will create pay as you play and more micro- transactions. Ms is doing it right buy only giving older games that have run their course. Of curse as a gamer Sony wins hands down in free to play area today but I thin...
You are missing out on a lot of great games. for me its a cost to play ratio. A downloadable game can be a two to five hour game at the right price.

That's because they were going in one direction and the internet exploded with a shit storm of jerk offs that hated everything they were doing. (Sony is doing the same thing with their NOW)
They are in the process of changing a lot of software because the X1 is supposed to be connected 24/7 and its not now.
I believe this set them behind with all of their drivers because the people working on them had to switch to getting the X1 ready for launch. I could be wrong but doubt...
You don't know what they can do. your not a developer or computer software engineer. Everything said is based on haters and developers making games on Ps4 which is a lot easier to develop for. MS built a balance machine that I think will surprise people in the future.

Nintendo ditched Sony that's how it happened. They were very arrogant and did not think about the future just like now. Crappy internet slow to adopt technology unlike MS and Sony. For you fan boys who hate on MS, Sony is doing with "PlayStation Now" in this generation what MS said they were going to do in their first and second presentation. "Drm internet, media and gaming".
Sony has been doing VR for a while. I don t know a lot but when did 1080p become a standard for everything to work this just can not be true. I think Vr while be niche product for a long time. putting something on your face to play a game is something you have to be ready to do and not something you may want to do after a hard days work.

Anyone who buys Titanfall on anything but X1 is making a huge mistake. This game was designed from the ground up to be played on x1 servers and with a controller. I bet every Pc gamer will trash talk the game and be very disapointed.
